It’s great to think that these stories have traveled through decades. I have been reading them for over 70 years and still get a smile from them. 5+

Rarely seen Broons and Oor Wullie classics covering the WW2 years in which Wullie is determined to join one of the armed forces whilst Hen Broon and Joe Broon join the army. It is during the war years that you see Dudley D Watkins improve his artwork in the stories which makes them that bit more enjoyable. Whilst the war is alluded to and/or mentioned, most of the pages show life going on as always.
