This one is very special to me. This is the very first book I ever learned to read myself when I was in kindergarten. It's a very easy book to read and it is repetitive. This style of book is great for teaching kids to read as it can sort of help them guess what should be said on the next page. This version of the book is not in print anymore and it took me a while to find a used copy of it. Please share the title of the first books that you learned to read.

This has been a "first reader" for generations. It's such a fun book, allowing children to get the thrill of a "scare" in an age-appropriate way. Simply genius!!
