Patrick Clark has been Jeremy Thomas's best friend since third grade. Jeremy thought nothing could come between them--until now. When Patrick asked Jeremy to give Patrick's new girlfriend, Liv Carlson, a ride to his beach house, Jeremy thought the favor was no big deal. But during the long road trip, Jeremy ended up falling in love--with his best friend's girlfriend.
Here's what was so good about the book...the characters actually seem realistic and they have to struggle to do what's right! Jeremy doesn't expect to fall in love with Liv, his best friend, Patrick's girlfriend. But when he does, everything gets messed up and he might even lose his friendship with Patrick. You get to hear Jeremy and Liv's versions of what is happening between them...and believe me, it's interesting
I didn't enjoy this book at all. I don't think that boys would actually fight over a girl like Liv. She's not likeable at all. She annoyed me a lot. Maybe this book will have a bigger appeal on 13-year-old girls who just recently got interested in boys.
