This was a YA paranormal romance story which carried on from the previous book.
Ever was an okay character in this, she started to get a bit reckless with her powers at times though. One day someone is going to catch her manifesting BMWs in the street and she’s going to struggle to explain what she was doing.
The storyline in this was about Haven trying to get revenge on Ever and Damen for their part in Roman’s death, and about Ever trying to get hold of Roman’s shirt in an effort to recreate the ...more

This one was better than the last but even so only by a tiny bit.
I hated Haven from the start, what a bitch. I wanted her gone ever since she became an immortal. She is annoying... Not to mention self centered. (ALLL OF THE TIME!)
*Makes sarcastic surprised face* Who knew that Ever would doubt Damen again>? I hate how she finally says yes I trust him and then one tiny thing, any bit of unknown information that he hasnt shared with her and she jumps ship. Right back to the I dont trust you anymor ...more

Meh... I'm beginning to seriously hate these books. Not that the first 4 were amazing, but the first one wasn't bad... then they all go downhill from there IMHO. How long is the author going to drag out this Ever can't touch Damon crap? I mean, geesh!! Give it a rest already!! As if them being able to touch will automatically create this happily ever after ending we've all been waiting for. It's getting completely ridiculous!

Every time you see the words "tingle and heat," take a swig. I guarantee you'll be plastered by the time you finish the book in one sitting. We get it, your boyfriend makes you feel all warm and fuzzy. Move the hell on.
If you're not wasted by this point, go ahead and throw in another shot for every cheesy mention of a red tulip. If you're not three sheets by now, you have a heartier constitution than I.

Thank goodness I'm almost over! I can't stand this books! Now I understand what people meant by the absurdness of this pathetic Immortals series. All I want is the last book to arrive, read it, and then get on with my life, mourning the loss of my neurons.

Initially, I wasn’t going to finish this series which is fairly rare for me. Evermore was fantastic! Blue Moon was great and then it all went downhill from there. I was so frustrated with the main character’s absolute lack of growth not to mention the fact that the author constantly threw a character driven wrench that was just to convenient--whether it be [. ..] doing something incredibly stupid repeatedly throughout the books or the author writes Ever into multiple conversations and just choos

I am surprised at the negative reviews for this book. Trust me, I LOVED Evermore, completely HATED the 2nd book, "Blue Moon" and almost just stopped there. I'm glad I didn't, because after that 2nd book in the series, it really did get better from there.

First of all, this is the most slow paced book ever. No excitement, no nada. Okay so, Ever discovers that she was a slave in one of her past lives, who lost who family in a fire, and who was her hero? Damen. He rescued her by buying her, by later going back to try and buy her family. Little did he know that Roman snuck in the night a light the place in flames. Jude, who was also part of the salved family, decides to give it a go and try to win her back. Which, like always, he ...more

Ever is still the most annoying character in YAF, but I tell you what, I've hated Haven since the first book so this book....better than the last ones.
Whenever Ever says she knows she's doing the right thing you know she has made the wrong decision and unfortunately, she says this a lot. What bugs me most is that she always thinks that she knows better than the guy who has had 600 years of life experience. She's so self-righteous it drives me insane.

Dear Alyson Noel during this book I’ve felt like you tried so hard to keep us interested in what you are writing, unfortunately, You failed, big time.
This book is boring really truly boring and the fact that I have to somehow find a way to finish it is utter torture “I never change my habits and one of them is to never give up on a book and not finish it” so here I am trying to finish the 200 pages that are left ,not much huh?!!

So after reading the book, I'm having a few conflicting thoughts. but my major thought is: do we really have to have another book? Because honestly, I think the series should've end about, oh 3 books ago. I mean, how many times has Ever gotten herself into trouble and made the situation even worse? I've got a count of at least 5.
Personally, I think that if Ever had been sent to the shadowland two to three books ago and had her epiphany than the I'd like her and the series A LOT MORE! To me she ...more

I hella could not stand this book. I just wanted to continue to satisfy my curiosity about what happens in the end and what Haven does to Ever. As I read a little of the book I just could not get past the characters that are just all wrong.
Ever. I was expecting more about her from the first book, but the series has just made me totally dislike her as a character. First, in the other books she couldn't seem to do anything her self, even with her new found powers. Like, your immortal, learn to de ...more

This rating is two and a half...
Ever and Damen are still trying to figure out how to solve their little problem—and, damn it, they’re on this same page since Blue Moon, this is kind of getting old! On the other hand, they need to deal with the Haven situation—Ever knows Haven coming after her, it’s just a matter of time.

I mean come on, I could give it zero stars. I have never EVER read a series so ridiculously redundant in all my years of reading. Get over it already, honestly, an author that CAN write well should never EVER produce something so hideous. It's so disappointing when an author shows you she can write and develop a good story line (e.g. Evermore & Blue Moon, maybe even Shadowland) and characters and then puts on such a horrible display of mediocrity. It's a disgrace to her abilities. Maybe somethin

As vague, non-spoilery backstory, Ever and her boyfriend Damen are immortal. He turned her immortal after a car accident killed her (her parents and sister also died, but Damen was able to bring Ever back because she hadn’t fully crossed over). They’ve been in love for several lives, but she always died unexpectedly. (There’s a reason for that, but that comes up in an early book.) They’ve overcome several obstacles to be/stay together, but in Night Star, they face possibly the toughest battle ye

I actually found myself liking this book so much better than the last one. I’ve read some mixed reviews on here and I don’t feel that they are all right. Mostly I’ve heard that there has not been even a tiny bit of resolution in the story line. Well that’s not really true while they still don’t have the antidote some things have progressed. I think Ever has finally started acting like an adult. Although it happened almost halfway through the book it was still a big step forward. What I fail to u

I'm still not a fan of this series, I just keep reading it, because I started it. And I wouldn't recommend it ot a friend. I can't describe it excactly why but I always have the feeling, that it is annoying, the whole plot and most of the characters. the only two characters I like are Jude and Miles, but they are not so often mentioned in the book. The story about Damen and Ever is sometimes really boring and I just can't feel with them, also the part with summerland -> that's keeping rolling my

This series has never been on the top of my reading list. They're strictly mind-numbing brain candy, and truly, that's all they've ever been and ever will be. The biggest problem is that this series stems from a very weak main conflict. The two main characters are sexually frustrated teenagers who cannot touch one another due to some poison, and consequently, this leads to a bunch of awkward euphemisms about how the two can't have sex. It's kind of hard to take any of these novels seriously when

This book is a repeat of the last one. It is the same f*&^ing plot with a different f*@#ing bad guy. There are very few changes from the last 4 plots to this one. The only character that seemed to change at all from the last two books was Haven. And she made a drastic complete unrealistic 180. Noel's attempt to change Miles failed. The only thing that she changed for him was his looks. This book is boring and too many times repeated from the second book to now. Save your time and stop reading th

Night Star has some pretty interesting conflicts and tension between characters.
I still have quite a lot of questions about immortals versus rogue immortals, one version of the elixir versus another, and overall what's going on in Summerland.
The tension built up all the way to the end of this book, which was great! I honestly didn't know what to expect during the last several chapters. Although, I had my suspicions about what might happen in a particular scene...and my guess turned out to be cor ...more

Yay! Damen and Ever! Still amazing, loverly little novels in the Immortals series!! In "Night Star", the focus was on Ever and Damen's current relationship, and their trust issues after she learns that in one of her past lives she was a slave in the Southern US and that Damen bought her and not her family. He kept this information, and some more information like this too, by editing it out while at Summerland.

I loved the turn that Night Star took - the antagonist in this book was honestly one I didn't see coming (at least until maybe the book before, and even so it was a surprise). And seriously, the ending really threw me for a loop. I did not see it ending that way...and I love twists and surprises!

Okay, I think I've been Immortal-ed out. The first book was awesome. The second may have been even better. The third was good. The fourth was okay, but still enjoyable. This one was a huge struggle for me to get through.
I think the problem is that they've gotten quite repetitive. Damen and Ever... will they or won't they?! At this point, I could care less. The writing is also repetitive. People mock Twilight for Edward being "beautiful" this and "beautiful" that, but that's nothing compared to d ...more
