Using linocuts and coloured pencils, Narelle Oliver creates a visually fascinating rendition of a Southern Queensland forest.

Birds featured are a Large-tailed Nightjar, a Superb Lyrebird, a Pheasant Coucal, and a Noisy Pitta.

Fox and fine feathers is a Junior rated book and is quite Different you don`t get many books like But I mean that in a nice way!
It is also a short listed book like some other books i with some other books i`m doing reviews about!

Narelle Oliver (1960 - 2016) was an Australian artist, print maker and award-winning children's author-illustrator.

Narelle Oliver was born on 25 February 1960 and grew up in Toowoomba in south east Queensland.

Oliver majored in design and printmaking while studying for a Bachelor of Education degree. She began her career teaching at the Queensland School for the Deaf.
