This is from the otome game series called "heart no kuni no Alice" (Or "Alice in Heart Country") The story is about Alice and her dashing knight, Ace. The main contender for Alice's love is Blood Duprie. Blood Duprie is the "mad hatter" of this series. But he's actually not a hatter he's a mafia boss! Not to mention he looks like Alice's first love who dashed her heart.

I really liked this book. Probably because it was my first actual book to read in Japanese. But I also liked the story a lot too. Blood and Ace are two of my favorite characters in the series and it was fun to see them fight it out over Alice.
