Great story

History through the eyes of a Texas Ranger. An authentic look at 1880's Texas and the history around our Nation's westward expansion. Its gritty, real, and often uncomfortable, but it is history and it is truth, and should be embraced forever. Thank you Captain Dan Roberts for immortilizing your slice of our past.

Cancel culture would hate this book

Read it for yourself. Frontier justice was best, dispensed by men of honor. Note carefully the author's accurate account of mishandled Indian education and relocation.

I read this while researching my family history as the Author within my family’s linage. It is filled with rich history and for those interested in both the history of the Texas Rangers as well as Texas, it’s a must read!

Historic Texas

I enjoyed the historical accuracy of the book I found that it was written with an attempt to to help the reader understand the situation of the territory at the time.
