I dont know what to say about this book but as a selective reading for some system and whole reading of other systems it was and it is still one of the best books about medicine offcourse this is my view as medical doctor newly graduated I dont know about others
I just changed the rating from 5 stars to 3 stars, as I'm reading more into the different systems, my head stars to hurt. It's unnecessarily detailed, and haphazard...
Both the basics and complexities of Medicine are presented in an elementary style in this colorful manual. The reader will flip through the brilliantly laid out charts, diagrams, and tables with ease and alacrity. If you don't mind British spelling and terminology, this book is easier to read than Cecil.
Awesome book. Very thick, detailed and easy to understand. Helped me clear up a lot of concepts. Good to read through for an initial understanding. For review Id recommend shorter more concise books.
It's quite a good book for undergraduate medicine. It has good breadth but not enough details in certain areas and too much details in others. I think it's competitor Kumar and Clark's is better for undergraduate medicine in the UK.
A very comprehensive and concise book for medical students for studying Medicine and Basic Management of diseases. For the size and pages of book, it's a really good summary for basic medical guidelines.
