Good for getting general ideas but does not go into a world of depth, and you don't learn anything new that you couldn't find online for free. Though I suppose if you are too lazy to search through websites this book would come in handy.

Plus, not near as zombie heavy as the title leads one to believe.

A sensationalist approach to history, a book version of shows like Ancient Aliens.

This covers the legend of the zombie that arose from traditions in New Orleans and how the myth evolved over the years, but with more emphasis on scaring the reader with this-is-all-true-I-swear! attitude rather than scholarly analysis.

Yet again another very interesting book from Brad Steiger. There are a few more books of his that I am looking into finding. now you can call me what ever you like, but I really like his books because they tend to make me aware of things that are out there. beliefs and such things. to be honest the world is a very large place and even though some of these things are somewhat terrifying, I wonder...what if these things were real and we just don't recognize that which is right in front of us. Or i just have an over active imagination.
