12 books in 1 makes it an incredibly long book, but there certainly was lots of helpful information in here for a new dog owner. The authors had a cute sense of humor, which was appreciated while digging through this much information.

I *think* that I feel more prepared to raise a happy, healthy, fun, well behaved puppy after reading this. My fingers are crossed!

I didn't have high expectations for this HUGE book, but am well pleased with what I have read so far. It seems very thorough and the writers are the same people who are writing the dozens of other books about dogs and puppies. I may buy it ($20) for its chapter on health care and emergency treatment (which I can't bear to read now, but would be glad for a simple reference when/if I need it.

While I haven't technically read this all the way through, I have read a majority of it and flip through it when I need to look something up about the dog. So I'm marking it as read.

I will say that this book has a lot of information, but the one downside of the fact that it is all in one, is that some information that is about the same subject isn't all together.

Comprehensive, but simultaneously too much and too little in some respects.

A bit disappointing because it didn't go into as much detail as I'd hoped. It's more a book aimed at someone with a moderate understanding of dogs and not a "dummy" as such.
