This is a fascinating insight into the motivations and drives of sexual predators. If you have ever wondered how, or why, people can commit such terrible crimes, then this book aims to answer that question. At times it is a harrowing read, with real crimes described in quite some detail. It is not for the faint of heart. Excellent introduction to the subject. I always love Ramsland's books, they're very comprehensive. My only comment is that if you also happen to read Inside the Mind of Serial Killers, sometimes the cases discussed in both books are the same, but then again, the two go hand in hand in many cases so they're always relevant.

I've loved books since I was 3, and the library was a highlight of my childhood. I've been fortunate to be able to find great joy in what others have written and sometimes to give this to readers. I follow my own muse, because it leads me on interesting adventures. If others benefit, so much the better.
