If you were a times sign, you would multiply things. You could make more tricycle tires, alien eyes, or bunches of balloons. What else could you do if you were a times sign?

Overall, a great book that teaches children about what a "multiplication sign" should be called and it's characteristics. I would use this book in the classroom to help introduce multiplication and to help discuss how it may be confusing at first but it's ok, because we all go through it at one point or another.
This book is a good book about what multiplication is. It also tells what the opposite of multiplication is, division. It has cute problems for the students to work on. This book would be good for those students who struggle with multiplication. This would be a small group book. They could work on the problems in the book individually then compare with everyone else's.
