Novala Takemoto (嶽本 野ばら) is the professional name of Toshiaki Takemoto (嶽本 稔明), a Japanese author and fashion designer. Takemoto has been one of the most active promoters of the Lolita lifestyle and remains fascinated with the Rococo era in particular. He was nominated for the Yukio Mishima Literary Award twice, for his novels Emily (in 2003) and Lolita (in 2004).

Somehow this one feels like a more grown-up version of Novala. Intensely worth it. Somehow strangely one of the first ones I read. I think this was the first one that was published after I became a huge fan, so the signing for this one was the first one I was able to attend. OH MEMORIES. Tears poroporo down our faces as Erika and I waited patiently in line to meet our idol. ポロポロhappy tears <3
