The 1st time I remember hearing about d.a.levy was when my girlfriend of the time, Rebecca Barten, & I assembled H.O.M.E. i appreciated the author's take on levy's life and influence of the Cleveland community in the 60s. i think it helped that i was a fan of levy before i picked up the book, but it could be a good read as an introduction to the poet/publisher/advocate.
the dvd that comes with the book is intense. i enjoy watching parts of it from time to time - rather than the whole thing.
