A very disappointing attempt to do with Star Trek what the authors sucessfully managed to do with Doctor Who. While Star Trek has just as much potential for hilarious and self-effacing mockery, the authors seem to miss the boat -- settling for somewhere between "tame" and "cliche" and "insipid". Nowhere near as funny as it could be...and nowhere near as funny as it THINKS it is.

Pretty funny, although the authors can't seem to decide whether they're taking the piss or defending the show from others. A good 'bog book'.
