Fidel Castro: La Historia Me Absolvera

As a biography, this book covers Fidel Castro's life in seven parts, starting before his birth with his father and goes until the 2000's.
It has a regular amount of details and it has an close view of Castro's actions during all periods of his life.

Sometimes the passings are resumed or even not well explained and one with a major interest in that part of his life should go for another biography to complement the facts. Furiati has a point of view that sometimes let show some affection for the leader, but she keep it impartial for the most part, and certainly she doesn't fall to the anti-communist cliche.

I recommend this reading for everyone curious about the Cuba revolution and it's succession as a dictatorship, and mostly for those who asks themselves why Fidel has never left the power or even has not been kill by the CIA, or even how Cuba has kept it's fragile economy after the URSS fall.
