This is basically an historical picture book with amazing detail. Pour example: the tips of those freaky pointy pointy medieval shoes (called crackows or poulaines) were often ATTACHED to the KNEE. WORD.

An interesting book. Some lovely pics. Interesting to learn that some of my shoes date back to Egypt 200BC. Some styles never date.
