A Teen's Guide to Getting Published is an exciting must-read for young writers wanting to see their work published. This revised edition, written by two successful former teen authors, offers practical writing tips and an expansive, up-to-date listing of print and online markets that publish student work.
A Teen's Guide provides concrete advice, encouragement, and motivation to young authors looking to make their mark as writers.
This was actually quite good, as far as writing books go! Completely clean, and with great advice. My only quibble is that it's outdated, since it was updated in (I believe) 2006. I'm definitely rereading some parts, and trying all the links they provided (although I expect some of them may be broken, since it is an old book). Four stars!
Interesting with lots of practical, helpful advice. Also, it assumes that writing isn't all that you do or necessarily what you want to do with your life. The authors had numerous pieces published as teens, including this book, but went on to become chemical engineers.
