Good book. Interesting that the issues surrounding football are exactly the same now that they were 10 years ago, such as greed, the fallibility of the current ownership model and the dominence of the top teams. I particularly liked the articles that were nostalgic such as about football board games or past world cup tournaments

A cracking selection of articles from When Saturday Comes, spanning the second half of the 1990s and first half of the 2000s. The occasional article maybe doesn't quite hit the mark but since few are more than 3-4 pages long they're easily skipped through.
