When a woman becomes fertile, the ache for sexual fulfillment is overwhelming. Rowena, a Maida scientist, must learn to spread her legs with as much relish as she has for scientific discoveries. Can she give her body and heart to a man who is more myth than her rational mind can comprehend?
Tulon, a Centaur, exiled from his clan because he's different, has been in human form for two years after Maida warriors captured him. He can't find one redeeming quality in the Maida until he catches the scent of Rowena — a woman in heat. Chosen to appease her lust, he claims every inch of her silky skin, which releases his magic.
Can two beings with different beliefs embrace the fact that myths can become real when sizzling magic, searing heat and passion engulf them? Or will a challenge by Tulon's nemesis break the fragile trust, forcing Rowena to flee for her sanity?

When I first read the blurb to Love Me Wild I had a different image in my head of how the book would go. I'm really glad that the image was wrong. I found the plot very entertaining. There was quite a few interesting twists that I didn't see coming and found quite pleasant. Okay, there was one scene involving Rowena's relatives that I found was a bit of a ick factor. Without revealing any spoilers let me just say I thought some of the species hybrid combinations in the secondary characters I found real fascinating. I'm hoping a few of them will get their own stories.
Can I say the sex between Rowena and Tulon is tantalizingly HOT! What really got me was how Tulon as a Centaur that can change at will into a man. That perked my interest. Having never encountered that before does put a whole new spin on sexing. Imagine it; you can either go at it as a horse or as a man. It definitely gives to meaning to variety is the spice of life!
As to be expected there is a HEA but don't let that deter you from reading the book. If you're looking for a quick read to not only be entertaining but to get you all hot and bothered, then Love Me Wild by Renee Field is the book for you. Really looking forward to the next book.
I received this book from JeepDiva in exchange for my honest review. The opinions and rating of this review are solely mine and in no way was I compensated.
Got this as a free read! Storyline was intriguing, entertaining with some mystery and hot action. Definitely not what I anticipated and written in a way that held my attention. Loved the chemistry and passion between Rowena and Tulon. Loved the characters in this book. Would recommend.
Okay I wrote this book and I'm trying to create an author's page - not sure this is working. I loved writing this. It's got hunky Centaurs, Amazon-like warrior women who make the men sex slaves -lol
Very creative storyline, sort of like Y: The Last Man with mythology and some lite sci-fi. The beginning was much better developed than the middle and the end. Short read. Free.
