This is a text that we use in the Writing in Psychology class at Xavier University. I wrote it with a couple of my colleagues. Originally, Du Bois Williams (Irvin) and I put it together and then we brought in Elliott Hammer along about the time that Du Bois left Xavier. It was used for a number of years in the class and was revised extensively over time before it was finally published.

I grew up on a farm in Arkansas, and I fully intend to retire right back to that same farm. But not yet.
