This book does exactly what it purports to do and is very clear and well-written. It's even better than Sylvia Porter's Money Book for getting a basic grasp of personal finance. HOWEVER, I gave it four stars instead of five. This is because of an absolutely TERRIBLE point made when it comes to forms for making out your will. She doesn't exactly tout them, but she does list them as an option. In my work as a court reporter, I have seen litigation -- difficult, expensive, seemingly endless litigation where one of these preprinted forms was used. I think she should have advised against the use of these forms. Apart from that, I do recommend this book.

Mostly information I already knew.
Good for beginers, but not for those looking for advanced help or information
