This is basically just a board book with pictures of cats, and rhyming text. It made me laugh twice, though, so I'll include it here. First the cover: BUSY KITTIES shows a cat apparently sleeping. True, this is one of the things that cats do best, but busy? (Maybe he's having a twitchy dream, eh?) And, a shout out to the author for creating the first board book I've seen to feature a small puddle of urine, along with the caption "Kitty puddling."

The ten-year-old-boy inside me giggled, anyway.

Chloe loves this one - particularly if you add sound effects to the kitty hissing and kitty whining pages.

Fantastic photography too. Great eye for color and composition.

Not as cute as some of the other books in the A Busy Book series. Baby liked the photos of the tabby cats since we have a our own striped cat. As a parent I didn't care for the "kitty puddling" with a photo a kitten next to a puddle of pee. I didn't find that funny, and I think that the author could have found a better verb to complete the couplet with "kitties cuddling" such as "kitty scuttling."

My son LOVES this book. Mostly because he loves kitties. It's cute, but I think some of the kitty photos could be better. Especially the kitty noseing. But this is definitely a great choice for toddlers.

Kitties puddling? Really? Mommy says pee on the floor is bad and she doesn't like that page. but I like all the kitties but they aren't as soft as our kitties. it scared me when mommy made the hiss sound!
