4 stars!

This is the third Masters of Mahem book, and I’m continuing to love this series from Renee Rocco! A dark and gritty MC-ish romance with beautifully emotional love stories, this book takes us back to Mayhem for an opposites-attract, forced proximity story that is dark and dramatic, with a gorgeous romance.

Like his best friends, Havoc grew up in Mayhem and is a member of the Unholy – a gang that protects their beloved town in a post-second-civil-war United States. These boys are dark, violent killers, and the book reflects that, so trigger warnings for violence, death, torture and murder. This one also has themes of childhood sexual abuse, so there are some tough moments.

Havoc and his younger brother survived a torturous childhood and Havoc is now an enforcer for the Unholy. It’s a job he loves, it’s a job he’s great at, and it allows him to be violent and work out his demons on those who truly deserve it.

Kerri is the best friend of Faith (heroine from Jester: A Second Chance Dark Romance), and was introduced in the last book. She and Havoc had a bit of a flirtation going on during that story, and even though Kerri is not from Mayhem, and is from a wealthy, loving family that is a world away from anything that Havoc can fathom, she has become a sort-of-extended part of the Unholy family. So, when she runs into serious trouble, Havoc is the man she calls for help.

Jumping in to save her, Havoc quickly recognises the danger that Kerri is in, and he whisks her away to his safe house in the mountains, promising to keep her safe.

Kerri is my duchess.
Except she’s not mine. She’ll never be mine. I’m some filthy thing. A disgusting creature born of misery and pain. Forged in blood and tragedy A murderer. I’ll never be anything more. Never be anyone’s knight.

It’s a great set-up, and with these two already feeling an attraction, the story dives right in to them getting to know each other more, opening up to each other, and slowly getting to truly know each other. Havoc’s past has left him with serious demons, he is a violent killer and doesn’t feel worthy of having anything good in his life, and he doesn’t even really want it. Whereas Kerri is sunshine and sweetness. But locked away with Havoc, she has the opportunity to throw off the limits and expectations on her life, and truly be free, and she embraces that in all the ways, exploring her darker side and bravely putting herself out there for the man that she wants so badly.

“You can’t fix me.”
I snuggle in closer and close my eyes. “Who said you’re broken.”

Things don’t happen immediately, and the romance has the feel of a slow burn as we get moments where the tension breaks, but Havoc trying to keep himself in check knowing he’s not the man who can give Kerri what she wants. But he’s also not a man to deny himself what he wants, and all of that chemistry and sexual tension explodes into hot, dirty sex, and an intimacy that neither of them have ever experienced.

The nagging voice that constantly reminds me to be dignified and proper is remarkably silent. Here, I’m free.

It's a difficult situation, and between Kerri’s personal situation and everything unfolding between them, it’s an emotional one too, but I loved getting to know them, seeing the dynamic between them shift, and watching their time together change them so profoundly.

“I’m not a good man.” His rough confession barely breaks the quiet.
“I know.” I whisper. “I don’t need a good man.”
As the minutes tick by, Havoc is silent for so long, only the rapid beat of his heart tells me that he’s still awake. “I’m going to ruin you.”
Whether it’s a promise or a threat doesn’t matter. “I know that, too.”
“Don’t let me.”

This wouldn’t be a Mayhem book without the dark and gritty, and this book has it. The Unholy boys live a violent life, and there are scenes of violence, torture and death as they go about their business. I actually skimmed scenes in this book because they were a bit too gruesome for me. But it’s who they are and how they live, and it suits the story as the boys dive in to help Kerri with the trouble that she’s in.

We also get to meet Kerri’s family, which brings an unexpectedly emotional aspect to the story that is beautifully written. It reinforces the importance of family to the Unholy, and I love that we really get to see the acceptance and care that all of these characters have for each other despite their huge differences.

“To have a conscience, you need a soul. I lost mine a long time ago.”
Havoc brushes his lips across mine. Not gentle. Not sweet. A kiss to seal his oath to protect me from himself. From the evil that lives inside him. As if I hadn’t opened my arms and embraced his depraved glory.

Seeing so much of Havoc’s brother, Discord, was also awesome. He’s got wicked demons, but he’s also freaking hilarious, and we can already see that he has a huge heart. I can’t wait for his book.

Havoc and Kerri both go through a lot in this book, and the character growth is a really special part of their story. They fall so deeply in love, and they do it naturally, honestly and openly. They have some soul searching to do to get their HEA, and it’s a beautiful journey watching them do it.

4 stars.

These Unholy men…let me tell you…🔥😏 Jester is still my #1, but I was not expecting Havoc to give him a run for his money. Havoc is dark, demented, mean, & downright scary. But his fierce need to do ANYTHING to protect Kerri is hot as hell. Not sure how, but Renee made me swoon over all these big, threatening men who torture & get rid of anyone that threatens one of their own. I can’t wait to see which other Unholy men will find love in Mayhem. Side note- does anyone know where I can find myself an Unholy…asking for a friend, of course 😉

This book if DARK with lots of gore, but the steam is through the roof & we do get a HEA!

This is one of those books, you know?
Those books that you completely understand the main characters in a deep level because you notice how much of themselves the authors poured in them. They're rare, but they exist. And I'm glad I took the time to read this one.

Havoc is the third installment of the Masters of Mayhem series, however, by what I could gather, it can be read as a standalone... But I suggest you to read the books in order so you'll have a better immersion in the universe.

Havoc is part of the Unholy, a MC. It's the only family he has other than his younger brother. He's passionate about his place in Mayhem and he loathes the "bright" side of the city, where all the rich people live... And that's where Kerri lives.

Kerri's going through some tough times. Her father has been shot and she's trying to get the police to do their jobs. When she speaks too much and starts to bother some people, her life is threatened and she turns to the only person she can ask for help: Havoc.

Now with them stuck together in the middle of the woods, what will come of them?

The book is raw. Havoc takes every single page of the book. He's a troubled soul looking for anything that can release him from the torment, but at the same time, he wouldn't know what to do if he actully got his way out of the demons tormenting his mind. He's a paradox and I'm completely intrigued by him.

Kerri, on the other hand, even though she's looking for Havoc's help, she ain't no damsel in distress. She's tough and isn't scared of saying what people need to hear... Including my boy Havoc, who's the target of spot on remarks about his behavior. Which made me admire her deeply.

The writing gave me life. Renee has a thing with her words that kept me raving about it days after I finished reading the book. Definitely not the last thing I'm reading from this author.

This was my favourite of the trilogy. It made me feel…. Everything. I loved the main characters and how their differences complimented each other so much. The smut was amazing and the character development of not only the main characters, but the others aswell was sublime.

I read Havoc in one day and regret doing that because I immediately wanted to go back and re read this and the series, I missed these characters so much. I didn’t expect to love Havoc and Kerrie as much as I did but those two were the best opposites to lovers. I pictured this book like I was watching an action movie & I loved watching these & could fully picture them together at the cabin. They opened up to each other and Havoc opened up the best he could and was so sweet with Kerri. This one was so violent compared to the other 2, these unholy are something else and they do not hold back. It was gritty & twisty and so dark and I ate it to. This dark violent world is exactly what I look for in all my dark romance books. It was unforgettable and these characters stay with you.

Welcome to Mayhem where anything goes just be careful whose path you cross and make sure you’re on the right side of The Unholy.
Pain and pure evil created the man we know as Havoc and he will do anything for those he cares about, just be careful you are not on the receiving end of his wrath. He is vicious, ruthless, creates pain like no other, he will stop at nothing to protect his family. That family is his blood brother, Unholy brothers, and a select few. He carries the weight of the world on his Viking like shoulders and hides his pain until it has to come out in the form of his affliction or violence. Those close to him know his vice yet they stay silent because they all have their own ways of dealing with past and present pain.
Kerri is a socialite debutante that has had the world at her fingers since birth, but even if she comes from the right side of the tracks she knows that isn’t all there is to life. When some events has her on the run she calls the one person she knows she shouldn’t, but knows he will be the one to help. Havoc comes to her aid because their attraction is intense, yet there is so much holding them back. Havoc doesn’t see himself as worthy and Kerri sees the depths of him, but she doesn’t know if he will shred her heart or not. As they spend time in their own little oasis (the Death Star) away from it all their tension bleeds off the pages that make you feel their pain and attraction. When it becomes too much will they act on these feelings or ignore them? Kerri can see the pain and torture that Havoc carries in his eyes, but will she ever be able to get him to open up and see her too? She isn’t what he expects her to be, she may come from a different life, but when she looks at Havoc she sees deep into his soul and not a monster like he thinks he is. Havoc carries so much anger and pain that he doesn’t think he deserves anything especially someone as sweet and pure as Kerri, but his fierce protective side has him not caring, just that she is his. The time they are together they can’t fight their attraction for each other, but when it’s all said and done will they go their separate ways to their own side of the tracks pretending nothing ever happened?
My heart hurt so much for all that Havoc and his brother have endured, the pain Havoc feels is all on him, and his outlook on how he isn’t worthy enough for anything good. I hated he only saw himself as this monster when there was so much more to him than his past, but I loved that Kerri knew how to show him this and the love he deserved. Havoc’s journey isn’t an easy one and it never will be because he is who he is, created by darkness but loved in the light.
This author has created a world in this series that may dark, twisted ,and crazy, but it’s beautiful in its own way. Mayhem, The Unholy all become a part of you as it seeps into your soul where these twisted characters mean so much and you fall in love with this journey because it always leaves you craving more.

Somehow, I missed Jester’s story, but I will definitely be going back to read that one. This is the second book I have read from her and I am fast becoming a fan! I love this MC group, and I love how family is everything to them.

This is the story of Havoc Taylor and Kerri Ward – Havoc being from the “wrong” side of the tracks and Kerri being from the posh neighborhood of Brighton. Two opposites who so totally belong together! Havoc had an awful childhood growing up and never had the “real” knowledge of what a family should be. He had to protect his younger brother (Discord) from their evil stepfather. Havoc is dark, uncaring and very grumpy! Kerri is a ray of sunshine, the “perfect” girl who Havoc does not want to tarnish with his bad self. When tragedy strikes and Kerri calls Havoc to save her, the story only gets better from there.

Once the two get to know each other more, you can only root for a relationship for them. Unbeknownst to them, they are what the other needs to know what its actually like to be happy. While Kerri may have had a great childhood, she feels like something is missing. And when she sees a side of Havoc she hasn’t seen before, will she run away?

The strength, emotions, passion, and understanding will have you shed a few tears as they work through everything going on. The betrayal, darkness and violence will have you cheering for justice. Great story, great characters and some shocking news at the end that has me wanting another story ASAP!

This is the third book in this series and I swear they just keep getting better and hotter. This group of men The Unholy are seriously the definition of an Alpha man. They will go a long way to protect their family. That includes people who live in their town Mayhem. When it comes to their women they are all bark and only a little biting but you won't hear the ladies complaining. You start to see the chemistry between these two in the second book but Holy Crap does it get better in this book. Havoc thinks his past still defines him as an adult. He thinks he has nothing to offer Kerri because he is a murderer who only deserves to be alone in the hell if his past. Havoc thinks if he shows Kerri his real self he will scare her away. Kerri thinks she has to stay trapped in her boring life. She has never been happy living like a glided bird. Neither one can move pass anything because they both are trapped in what they believe they deserve. It takes someone almost hurting Kerri for them to actually spend time together. Havoc will do whatever he can to keep her safe because he wasn't able to keep his brother safe when they were younger. He needs to feel in control of the situation. During this time Kerri shows that she wants him anyway she can and tries to get to know him since they are stuck together. I absolutely have loved how their story come along and they end up where they belong. This book had me capatived from the beginning until the end and I seriously didn't want it to end. I can't wait to see what happens next in this series.

Havoc grew up the worst way possible. His mother was willing to do anything to get her next fix of drugs. That meant Havoc and his younger brother were abused among other things as young kids. The only bright light in their childhood was his best friend Faith. She would let them sleepover in her room to escape the nightmare of their lives, if just for a little bit. Now an adult, Havoc has ensured that he will never be hurt again. He joined the Unholy and is in charge of helping take care of criminals who deserve everything coming to them. His best friend from Childhood, Faith is now with one of his Unholy brothers Jester. Faith has a friend that he met a few months ago, Kerri, who is from the wealthy part of town. Kerri grew up with the perfect life but he can’t get her out of his mind. While he is on the job, he gets a phone call from Kerri begging for help. He didn’t know what he was walking into but he was determined to protect her and help her get justice for what has been done to her family. Havoc takes her to a safe house, in the middle of the mountains, where they will never be found. While being stuck in the cabin together, their feelings start to develop for each other. Will they be able to find who shot her father and get who tried to kill her without destroying their relationship? I was given an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was my first book by this author and it did not disappoint. Kerri finds herself in a scary situation with her life in danger, and calls on the one person she feels like who will be able to keep her safe... Havoc. Havoc is an Enforcer for the Unholy, a gang in Mayhem. Mayhem is worlds away from where Kerri grew up, and their childhoods were vastly different, yet they seem to get each other on a fundamental level. Now that Havoc is responsible for Kerri's safety, it puts them in close proximity for a great deal of time allowing them to get to know each other better and for walls to be broken down.

I really enjoyed the premise of this story and these characters, and Kerri and Havoc had some serious chemistry. This story is dark and twisted and gritty and raw, and these men do some crazy things, but you can tell how protective they are of the people they care about. My heart hurt so much for both Havoc and Discord for all they went through and how much they were obviously still hurting over everything. I completely devoured this book and now need to go back and read the first two in the series so I can have a full picture. The author did a fantastic job of creating a unique set of characters and setting and story line that kept me intrigued and invested from the first page to the last and most definitely wishing for more.

Always these prejudices.
The Unholy aren't bad guys in general. Sure, they are criminals, but they are protectors. They protect their loved ones, but they protect their town and everyone in it. Mayhem may not be the typical small town. But I think that's because of the civil war that just ended. It's more anarchy 😎

I'm a bit speachless right now. Havoc is WOW 😍 Sure he is grumpy, broken, and everything. But he has a huge heart behind this very thick stonewall. He just doesn't want to confess that. But the way he cares for his brother, his friends, and Karri shows it. I wouldn't go that far and calling him a golden retriever 🤣 but he cares a lot and would do everything for them.

I didn't expect anything that happened in this book. It shocked me. In a good way. I felt so sorry for everything that happened to Karri. But not just her. It's so so so terrible what happened to Havoc and especially Discord when they were kids 😭🤬

Again, this is a dark romance, so there is a lot of 🔪🩸🔫🛠️ But it's the "bad guys" who use the things 😎 at least most of the time 🙈

This is currently the last available book. And I really hope Discord will still get his book and many of the other members, too. I really love them all 🩷

Wow. This story was utterly breathtaking. Admittedly, I have not read the first two books (yet) of this series. This story stands on it's own, and while knowing a bit about other characters wouldn't hurt, it doesn't take away from the utter depth of this installment. I really went in thinking this was an MC story, and while it's not, the club-life is still very present. This story has some extremely dark elements to it, and while some won't be able to make it past those things, they make the story and give you such a strong connection with the characters. I think the only emotion I didn't experience during this read was fear, otherwise, there is a spectrum to go through. I don't want to give any details away, although I know others may. I think that this is something you have to experience and it doesn't feel right to give any of it away. There are things in this story that are not for the faint of heart. There are things that will really rip at your soul, but there is plenty of light and it's beautiful to watch Havoc find it. While I'm going to grab the other two in the series, I hope that Discord finds his peace and light. He certainly deserves it.

This might be my favorite couple yet. Kerri is the good girl from the right side of the tracks and Havoc is the demon from the wrong side. What do you get when you mix the two? HOTNESS. I absolutely love when a tormented and twisted alpha male falls for someone he thinks should stay away for fear of ruining them. The fight they have with themselves that they lose in the end makes the loss that much more enjoyable. Havoc thought he could hold out? I 100% loved what Kerri and Havoc brought out in each other. They both let go of things or worked through them in their own way and it was magical to read. I mean, Havoc calls her his Duchess. *Swoon*. Don’t even get me started on the breakfast scene in Death Star. ;)

I loved the other characters they brought to the forefront in this book too and how they impacted each other as well. Pain, grief, and sorrow will definitely show you who will be there for you and who won’t be. I hope to see some of them in their own books down the line. Fingers crossed.

This book does contain some self-harm, violence, blood, and gore but it also brings so much steam too. There is an HEA.

WOW just WOW!
I’ve read dark romances before, but this one was a surprising standout. It was the first book where the main character was truly portrayed as a monster and it wasn’t sugarcoated to make him more likable. And guess what? I loved Havoc!

Despite being the “bad guy,” he’s fiercely loyal, protective of his own, and has a surprisingly good heart buried under all that darkness. I also really liked Kerri. Even though she’s “royalty” (or “Duchess,” as Havoc calls her), she’s neither snobby nor judgmental. She doesn’t even flinch at the fact that Havoc’s job is... killing. She’s direct, doesn’t tolerate his crap, and calls him out when needed which made their dynamic all the more engaging.

The banter between them was great, and the tension while they were stuck in the cabin was chef’s kiss. Honestly, I wouldn’t have minded more chapters just of that part. Both characters have tough backstories, but Havoc’s absolutely floored me. The torture scenes? 😳😨 Brutal. And yet, you can clearly see how much he wants to be better—for Kerri.

If you’re into dark romance with a super grumpy alpha male, forced proximity, and some seriously hot 🔥 scenes, go for this one. You won’t regret it. I’m definitely reading the rest of the series!

I was given this arc for an honest review.

What a story from beginning to end. Havoc is a guy with a dark past that you get to see slowly throughout this book. When he answers that phone from Kari while he is in the middle of business you know it must be someone important on the other end. Was not expecting it to be a woman that was totally opposite to him. Yet he goes to her for she needs his help. Also, the two of them are drawn to each other Havoc just doesn’t know it yet.
The story evolves slowly as you get two see both characters and you begin to see the pain the Havoc has built up over the years. You also get into the reasons for his cutting which I thought was dealt with extremely well and that it was also different having a male being a cutter. Being a parent of one I felt the author did this honestly, but still, be aware that it is in the story.
This is a dark story and yet you do see growth with the characters in this story and each character has strength. I felt really emotional at times but also felt like this was real also. Overall a very good book. I received this book from Netgalley.com

This is the final instalment of the masters of mayhem series and oh boy was they amazing

Having read all three books now I think my only real criticism is the lack of history regarding the civil war, I just needed a little more world building.

This book tells the story of Havoc and Kerri, with of course his brother Discord. It’s dark, real dark at times, that had me sobbing, with some laugh out loud moments, but still utterly heart wrenching.

Havoc is damn right scary but will do anything to protect his duchess (Kerri) he melts my heart even as scary as he is. She is equally scary in her own way, and equally as strong.

While I did absolutely love this book, I was a bit underwhelmed with the reason why shit went down, but this was reflected with the characters in the story with how they reacted to why it all happened, bit vague I know but I don’t want to give spoilers away.

Once again Renee has outdone herself, I never get bored of reading her work.

TITLE: Havoc
GENRE: New Adult Romance
AUTHOR: Renee Rocco
TROPE: Dark Romance, Opposites Attract
TYPE: Series (Masters of Mayhem Book 3)
POV: Dual POV
MY RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 5

Wow, this series is getting better and better! Havoc and Kerri's story is the best one yet. Indeed opposites, Kerri grew up with a close and loving family in a gated community with well-off parents. While Havoc grew up trying to protect his little brother from a toxic crack whore mother and her abusive boyfriends. I felt a range of emotions while reading Havoc; funny, tragic at times, and even sad, this storyline got to me. I love the Unholy Men of Mayhem, and I was honestly not expecting to fall for Havoc as much as I did. This book checks off all the dark and steamy checkboxes! I hope that the next book in the series will be Discord's story. My rating is 4.5-5 / 5 Stars

Rocco is back! This book is a true testament to the talent she processes as an author. Havoc was a character born in despair. His mother was an addict that was always looking for her next fix. She did not care about Havoc, or his brother Discord. Havoc was responsible for Discord and did anything he could to protect him. That much is true to this day.

Havoc reminds me of someone who is sometimes uncomfortable in his own skin. He has so much rage bottled inside that he tries to find a place to unload it. This is not always constructive, and leaves Kerri, the one person he cannot get out of his mind, to see a different side to him.

Kerri was born into wealthy, extremely rich parents. They have never shown her anything accept love and understanding. When her father is shit, she turns to Havoc and the Masters of Mayhem MC for protection.

I recommend this book. There was a deep drive into Havoc and Kerri's lives. I liked the patience, and understanding Kerri showed Havoc. I liked that Havoc had to find a way to accept his upbringing, had to use new tactics to navigate the who exactly Kerri was to him, and the fact that these two did not give up easily.

My only problems were some minor errors, and the fact that an MC is a club, not a gang.

Havoc (Masters of Mayhem: Book 3) by Renee Rocco
Genre: General Fiction (Adult), New Adult, Romance
Published: April 19, 2022

Havoc is the third book in the Masters of Mayhem series by Renee Rocco. I had not read the previous book and I was able to enjoy reading this. I think I might have felt more immersed in this world, if I had read the previous books, but I still really enjoyed this as a standalone.

I really enjoyed this steamy romance! I loved the characters, I thought they were well developed and fascinating! I thought the story was great! I loved that it was fast paced and had great twists and turns.

I look forward to reading the other books in the series and any future books! Loved it!

"the Unholy are the demons who hide under the bed to keep the bogeymen trapped in the closet.” As per usual I came for Havoc's story but stayed for the Unholy. I love tall viking types and Havoc doesn't disappoint 💙 but truthfully it's the family and community in Mayhem that I comeback for every time. Renee paints this picture of a loyal tight-knit group that uphold their own set of rules to the letter but also show they're capable of learning and growing together. I live and breathe for these people. It’s a dark read but it's realistic. Everyone will have to overcome their own obstacles, prejudices and monsters but Havoc and Kerri fit together💖🖤 thanks so much for another great read! Can't wait for Discord!

I did like this book, it was the first I read of the author and series- I am not a big MC/Biker Ganger reader but the blurb intrigued me. I did feel the book dragged a bit and there were some fair graphic violence scenes I could do without but overall I did like the story. Kerri was a well developed character in her mid twenties who wasn't too soft or hard and a good complement to Havoc. He was a bit too much in my opinion, but again I am not much of an MC reader so he might fit well for that demographic overall. The book had pretty good spice but was a bit lacking in the action department (I don't consider torture an action plot as an FYI) but it was engaging for the most part.

Great story and even better characters!

**Trigger warnings for child abuse and cutting. **

What an horrific childhood Havoc and his brother had and what they became is in direct contrast to the seemingly perfect childhood Kerri had is keeping what is keeping them apart. Until now.

When Kerri needs Havoc he comes. But what she shares with him is not what he saw coming. Now he has to protect her and keep her safe.

What Kerri sees in Havoc is way more than what he sees in himself. Can she convince him of that?

Read their journey in this book, which I will warn you, will be difficult to put down.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Booktok you aint never lied! Check your TW and clutch your pearls.

It's giving dark post civil war II, small town, gang run, romance. It's giving not just a stuck up princess more than meets the eye FMC. It's giving biased bad boy realness.

Let me start with the FMC and MMC development. Havoc honey, I'll take your baggage any day. And let me tell you he had baggage, he had more than a luggage set of baggage, he might need a u-haul to deal with his issues. Kerri was his balm though. Kerri you're not in kanas anymore you're in Mayhem.

Havoc's backstory... whew he's been through it.

It's giving beauty and the beast minus the Stockholm.

The spice... grab a fan because you're gonna need it. Havoc you can only resist for so long and when that dam broke it was gushing.

The MMC Havoc is scary. There is nothing else to it. He is what he is and good at what he does because of it. When he wants something he takes it. So when he’s stuck on guard duty out in the middle of the woods hiding out with FMC Kerri, he wants her, he’s going to make her his.
He’s possessive, moody and brutal, all the best signs to fall head over heels in love. The FMC takes no BS, she knows who Havoc is, she sees him more than she thought she would, doesn’t mean he won’t have to work for her.
This book was more emotional and darker, check triggers, but the final instalment in one of the best series written. I am now forever an obsessed Renne Rocco and Masters of Mayhem diehard.

Hot, steaming and explosive!
Omg Alpha all the way for me.
Kerri needs a hero and boy does she get one in Havoc, he comes to protect what he claims as his and tortures whatever has made her sad!
She can only see his goodness and ignores the parts that kill torture and Maim Bad people! He ensues the bad guy gets more than his just deserts!
This is a love story created from sadness but prove that two damaged halves can make a beautiful ending 💕
Love their chemistry, tension and acceptance of each other x

This book was amazing! Definitely pulled at the heart strings specifically at the beginning. Be aware that there is physical child abuse in this book and family death. Large trigger warning so be aware.
Havoc is affected by his childhood if protecting his brother through childhood abuse. Havoc cuts himself to cope, and is largely removed from people, apart from a select few.
Kerri is born and bred on the more affluent side of town and is best friends with other mayhem members partners.
Both characters are instantly drawn to each other’s and chemistry soon blooms.

I KNEW that I was going to like this book before it became a book. I had a feeling these two characters were going to have their own story when we first met them in Jester. And I was here for the push and pull!

I loved how open and understanding Kerri is. She is willing to hear people out and give them a chance to speak their peace. No matter how much Havoc tried to keep Kerri at a distance she stood her ground and let him know that she was not going anywhere. I am a sucker for a beast of a man but simply softy soft for his love interest.

Havoc definitely caused havoc for my life as I was glued to this book for a couple of days and very unproductive haha. This is the third book in Renee Rocco's series, Masters of Mayhem. I cannot wait to read the rest of the series. This book was a good length that allowed the author to develop the characters and plot adequately. I highly recommend giving it a go and reading the others in this series as the books are standalone but are better enjoyed together.

Such an awesome book. I loved the story of Kerri and Caleb aka havoc. Even though he havoc was tough as nails and grumpy , he sure showed that he can still love someone no matter how broken you are. As for Kerri she is a strong woman to go toe to toe with havoc and fall for him. Not gonna lie I weeped like a baby at the end of this book. Those of you who like dark romance you gotta pick this book up.
