No one outruns Fast Lawrence Shaw-especially when he runs with them. In the delirium of a mysterious head wound, Shaw stumbles upon the Dexter Lowe Boys on their way to steal some U.S. armament in the badlands. But in his weakened condition, Shaw will need backup. So U.S. Marshals Crayton Dawson and Jedson Caldwell are on their way to help him clean up the borders-by taking out the trash...
The main story with Lawrence Shaw was sound and it was a likable read. Especially when the main character is the fastest gun around so he can get himself out of any mess and he has all the gals chasing after him. This is a good western that is a quick read.
I enjoyed this book, but there were a few areas that were underdeveloped. The main storyline was fine, but the side stories with marshals Crayton Dawson and Jedson Caldwell and the other storyline with the two females were weak. I would have like to have heard more from the two lawmen, but it seemed that they were there just to make the main storyline work at certain points. The two females, one following the trail of Lawrence Shaw and the other female following the first female did not flow well as should have either been left out or enhanced as it was just there and did not add anything of value to the plot.
