It was a disappointment - full of stories that didn't really resonate with me (but that's just a personal viewpoint), which were all full of praise for the author (nauseatingly so, imo, by the time you've read a few of them), and no hints as to how to learn this "psychic" animal communication.
But the main problem for me was Weaver's repetitive use of the word "owner". (If you had a drinking game every time that word came up, you'd be drunk very, very quickly. The other book by Weaver I've read - "Animal Communication From Heaven and Earth" - was the same.)
It made me feel sick on a visceral level. It is obscene to reckon we can ever own another being.
I've never read ANY other book on this topic that used the word "owner", let alone so often. Usually the authors of this kind of book are keen to stop use of that word; state it's better to use the words "guardian" or "parent" or "companion". Which it is.
Couldn't really finish this book, was too nauseated by the repetition of that word.
We can own property or other things, but only for our lifetime. It is obscene and false to reckon we can "own" another living being. You'd think an animal communicator would know that ...
