I have somewhat mixed feelings about this book compared to the first one. On the one hand, there's some cool material here that expands the setting and mechanics in fun ways. There are some pretty neat new Boons that let Scions feel a lot more like divine characters, including stuff like summoning up a tornado, doing a lot of healing, and a couple of different ways of making temporary clones of yourself. L’ambientazione diviene sempre più avvincente perché i creatori non si sono limitati a trovare manifestazioni sempre più potenti delle varie abilità dei protagonisti, ora semidei a tutti gli effetti (v. la mia recensione a “Scion Hero”), bensì hanno aggiunto località del mondo ricche di peculiarità, basandosi ovviamente su quanto è noto delle varie mitologie che costituiscono il background di questa ambientazione.

Overall a decent follow-up to the first book in the series. Downgraded for perpetuating more Atlantis claptrap, but upgraded for expanding the existing purviews in ways that make sense and are fun. Now if only White Wolf would learn how to properly organize and index a book.
