I've been a fan of Ms. Miracle Austin for many years now and I think Fright Bites is my favorite collection of hers to date! As someone who grew up reading Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, this anthology evoked all the same thrills, chills, and emotions! A few of the stories, I'm not going to lie to you, will haunt me at night. And in my nightmares.
Every time I read Ms. Austin's work, I'm reminded of the creative mastermind she truly is. Each story is beautifully and terrifyingly well thought out and well composed with vivid characters and rich histories and myths. I really hope Stephen King gets the chance to read this collection because many of the stories reminded me of his work. Like Mr. King, Ms. Austin is a true master of the modern horror genre and I can't wait to read her next collection.

A very cool collection of scary stories. Ranging from the way too short, tell me more, via scary monsters to the super gory.
