I really liked this story. Angus O'Neil was a millionaire and he loved to go hot air ballooning. That is how he met Marigold Scott. Mari for short. She lived in a small cottage or house all alone because she was dying. She was born with a rare defect, and she had weak blood vessels in her brain. She was told she had five years to live. And she just wanted to be alone. Then Angus changed her world. She finally went up in a hot air balloon. And she did something she thought would never happen. She fell in love with someone, and finally had to tell them what was going on.

Angus fought hard to help her and it finally worked. Mari got the surgery that she needed and despite a small limp that would eventually go away. It was a side effect from the surgery. Mari was fine.

It had a very happy ending. Mari finally got her Forever.

Not bad but not good either.

I’m not a huge fan of our heroine, but this wasn’t that bad. Initially, I hated both of our main characters, but they grew on me by the second half. Their love story had less conflict than some of these books and that made me happy.
