With a change of narrator for each act, the story incorporates nice twists and turns to pull at the heart strings. It's a story of determination, hope and survival. It's also a coming-of-age as yet again another young teen is thrown into the role of an adult due to horrific circumstances. Luck certainly seems to be on their side.
