Paul was interviewed by John Dehlin as part of the Mormon Stories podcasts, available for free on ITunes. I would HIGHLY recommend listening to the series. I about drove my car off the road hearing Paul screaming at John and John laughing in the background.

Pretty interesting. Eloquent guy. Some of the essays are good and I agree with a lot of his arguments, some are a bit more out there or just less impactful. Definitely worth a read at least. 4/5

These are very interesting essays. I agree with much of what he says in them, but, my goodness, the beliefs he attributes to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the 9th essay, All Is Not Well in Zion, are astonishing. I have been a member of Wards in Tustin, California; Provo and Orem, Utah; Washington, D. C.; Christchurch, New Zealand; and Madison, Wisconsin and never have I encountered most of the beliefs he describes in that 9th essay. Perhaps it's different in Salt Lake where Bro. Toscano lives, but it's hard for me to believe it could be that different. If I thought the Mormon Church perpetrated the beliefs Bro. Toscano says it does, I'd welcome excommunication, as I suppose Bro. Toscano finally has.
