This is a finance book written by someone who has spent years watching people make the same investing mistakes. The book doesn't try to impress with complicated market jargon. Instead, it asks a simple question: before you put your money into a company, do you really know what you're buying?

Good prospect of the book is its insistence on slowing down. IPOs often arrive wrapped in excitement. Headlines celebrate them. Social media fills with predictions. Friends talk about listing gains as if profits are guaranteed. Sidda Raviteja quietly pulls the curtain back on that noise. He reminds readers that an IPO is not a lottery ticket. It is a business asking for your trust and your money.

I found the strength lies in teaching a way of thinking. The author encourages readers to become curious investigators. Why is the company going public now? How does it earn money? What risks are hidden beneath the glossy presentations? Those questions appear simple, yet they can save investors from costly decisions.

There is something refreshing about the book's practical nature. Page after page, it builds confidence through understanding rather than promises. This book is best suitable for beginners and retail investors, that would teach them how to evaluate IPOs thoughtfully.

A practical, insightful, and highly useful read for anyone interested in IPOs.

Mr. & Mrs. IPO is a highly innovative and insightful narrative, weaving together the worlds of finance, entrepreneurship and human relationships. In this short but powerful narrative, Sidda Raviteja introduces the idea of Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) in a fresh and innovative way that caters to businesses, directors, engineers, politicians, and everyone else. The concise text provides a quick tour of the most important issues, without sacrificing value. In addition to the finance topics, the book also explores human emotions and relationships. It raises awareness about the intersection of workplace ambitions and personal life choices and how they impact decisions and results.

The writing style is easy to follow, engaging, and clear. Despite the financial theme, the book is not too academic or complicated. Throughout the book, the author provides advice and insights that are backed by their own experience as an investor. The book is relatively concise, but it still manages to lay the groundwork for a good understanding of investments in an IPO. It does not try to educate readers into becoming finance-savvy overnight; rather, it provides the necessary knowledge and self-assurance to begin the independent evaluation of IPO options. This is a very compact format which will help readers to get through the book in a short period of time without losing valuable information.

What is also impressive about the book is that it places investor awareness as one of the top priorities. With today's market context, many retail investors are interested in IPOs because of the novices listing excitement and the anticipation of taking quick riches. The author cautions readers that it takes patience, analysis and careful decision making to make money in investing. The book emphasizes on the pitfalls and warning signs associated with investing, which will drive a more responsible and rational investing approach. The lessons do not just stop at the IPOs, they may serve as helpful advice for improving your general financial relationships.

I found Mr. & Mrs. IPO to be an interesting and enjoyable read as it brought the huge topic of finances down from the mountain and brings it down to a level one can understand! I loved the author's attempt to teach the public without overwhelming them. The book provides real-life lessons that can be implemented in actual investment environments, and the succinct nature of the book keeps readers captured from start to finish. If you are not well-trained in the stocks market, then this book teaches you useful lessons about research, patience and prudence. It is a good book for anyone who is interested in investing and wants to understand the mechanics of an IPO before entering the market.

I picked Mr. & Mrs. IPO because the title itself felt interesting and different. IPO is something many people hear about, but not everyone understands how to judge it properly. So I was curious to see how this book explains IPO selection in a simple and practical way.

The book is mainly about helping retail investors understand IPOs with more clarity. I liked that it does not push the reader to blindly follow hype, market noise, or quick excitement. Instead, it explains how to look at IPOs with logic, structure, and proper thinking.

What I liked most is the step-by-step approach. The book makes the topic feel less confusing, especially for someone who wants to understand how to check an IPO before investing. It talks about looking at the company, the industry, the numbers, the risk factors, and the warning signs instead of only getting carried away by popularity.

For me, this book feels useful because IPO investing can look very attractive from outside, but it also needs careful understanding. The author tries to guide the reader in a practical way so that decisions are not made only because everyone else is talking about a particular IPO.

I would recommend this book to beginners, retail investors, finance students, and anyone who wants to understand IPOs in a clear and simple manner. It is not written in a complicated way, and that makes it easier to follow. Even if someone is new to the stock market, the book can help them build a basic direction.

My favourite part about this book is that it focuses on awareness. It reminds the reader that investing is not just about excitement or quick profit. It is also about patience, checking facts, understanding risks, and making informed choices.

A very small thing I felt is that readers who already know a lot about IPO analysis may find some parts basic. But for beginners and normal retail investors, that simple explanation is actually the strength of the book.

Overall, Mr. & Mrs. IPO is a helpful, practical, and easy-to-understand book for anyone who wants to approach IPOs with better knowledge.

Mr. & Mrs. IPO is a practical and well-structured guide for anyone interested in understanding IPO investing. The book exists because many investors approach IPOs without a clear framework, often making decisions based on hype rather than careful analysis. It is especially useful for first-time investors, serious retail investors, and anyone who wants to learn when to invest and when it is wiser to stay cautious.

One of the book's greatest strengths is its simplicity. You do not need a finance background to understand the concepts explained in the book. The author breaks down complex financial topics into easy-to-follow explanations, making IPO investing accessible to ordinary readers. From explaining what an IPO is and what it is not, to discussing different types of IPOs and the factors investors should consider before investing, the book covers the essentials in a clear and concise manner.

The chapters are short, engaging, and connected to one another, creating a smooth reading experience. The author uses key points, takeaways, and a direct approach throughout the book, allowing readers to grasp important concepts without getting lost in lengthy technical details.

What makes this book stand out is its focus on disciplined decision-making rather than promises of quick profits. Instead of encouraging speculative investing, the author provides readers with a practical framework to evaluate opportunities thoughtfully and make informed choices. It teaches investors how to think critically, manage risk, and develop a more disciplined approach to investing in IPOs.

Overall, Mr. & Mrs. IPO is a crisp, insightful, and informative read. It is not a book to rush through; taking the time to understand its lessons can help investors build a stronger foundation for making smarter investment decisions in the future.

"Every market cycle creates excitement. Every IPO season creates stories."

I have always been fascinated by the stock market, and since it is closely connected to my profession, I am constantly looking for books that can deepen my understanding of investing. When I came across this one, I felt it had the potential to offer valuable insights, so I decided to pick it up.

If I talk about the overall presentation, it is neat and appropriate. However, I personally feel that the design could have been a little more visually appealing.

As the title suggests, the book focuses on understanding and analysing IPOs effectively. It aims to help readers look beyond the hype and evaluate opportunities with a more structured approach.

The author covers a wide range of topics and explains the IPO cycle in the Indian market in a clear and easy-to-follow manner.

One aspect I particularly appreciated was the emphasis on fundamental analysis and valuation metrics. The book also discusses risk assessment and exit strategies, making the content more practical for readers interested in investing.

Rather than offering quick tips, the book provides a framework that can be used to analyse IPOs independently and make more informed decisions.

The language is simple, the concepts are explained clearly, and the content is well-organised, making it accessible even to readers who are relatively new to the subject.

Overall, I found it to be a useful and informative read for anyone interested in understanding IPOs and developing a disciplined approach to evaluating investment opportunities.

With people investing into stock markets and SIP, IPO is another section which has been catching eyes because of the profit and listing benefits. Mr. & Mrs IPO by Sidda Raviteja lays the blueprint on which IPO’s needs to be applied, what are the factors which needs to be considered before applying and various factors.

The book has been written in such a way that it’s easy for beginners as well to understand the concepts and strategy before applying for an IPO. The book provides a brief description of what needs to be considered before applying for an IPO, what decision needs to be taken after an IPO gets listed, the exit or wait strategy, where investors should actually invest and many more.

I loved how Raviteja has urged the readers to look beyond the name and focus on company, industry, financial turnover, risk factors and many other assessments before applying for an IPO. With a simple language, this book will definitely help people to asses and then plan to invest their hard earned money. A good guide for IPO’s.

Rather than relying on hype or get-rich-quick tips, the book encourages readers to evaluate Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) using logic and solid research. It serves as a practical, foundational decision-making tool for everyday retail investors looking to build wealth securely.

The reading experience is highly approachable, breaking down complex financial concepts into small, digestible daily reminders about money habits and life. Every market cycle creates excitement. This book shares the basics of IPO and mistakes made due to lack of structure. This book helps shift the focus from excitement to judgement, from prediction to process, and from participation to selectivity.

The book emphasises process, judgement, and decision-making skills that are far more valuable over the long term. It helps the readers to walk through how an IPO should be evaluated and where most investors go wrong. The book also briefly discusses the misconceptions associated with it.

What I liked the most are the key takeaways after each chapter. The author's simple and organised way of explaining IPOs is commendable. His simple and lucid manner makes it easy to dive into listing and how different models of listing work.

Overall, it is an informative read.
