This book woke me up to the turmoil my husband and father have and are still going through. It was organized in clear questions and answers and was peppered with real life stories (which increased my ability to empathize w this debilitating disorder). I would recommend this book to family and friends new to the plight of psoriasis or those wanting to understand the pain that a friend or family member experiences daily.

Well, I read this cover to cover but it turns out I don't have psoriasis after all, only pityriasis rosea. Perhaps the book could use a section on other common skin conditions often mistaken for psoriasis. The book also focuses on moderate to severe cases and might freak you out if you only have the nuisance or mild variety.
