I assigned this book to my ESL (English as a Second Language) first grade student, having her read it aloud with me and then doing the worksheets in the accompanying workbook. It was absolutely perfect for her. I would recommend it for 1st or 2nd graders, ESL students, special education students and anyone who struggles with reading.
