I have been reading this book to my daughter since she was 10 months old and it has very quickly become her all time favorite book.
This is a simple, easy to read, yet very relevant book about the diversity of skin colours. It teaches young children to appreciate the skin they are born in and celebrate difference. A beautiful introduction to such an important topic.
As a board book the pages are thick and durable, making it great for those tiny fingers. There’s interactive elements to the book with cut outs and spinning wheels which help keep children engaged.
A book we revisit day after day and for that it has to be five stars.
