ARC REVIEW

This was a great fantasy read! This is the second book of the series, though it could be read as a standalone! It’s also set in the same world as the Forever Fae series, but you don’t need to read those books before starting on this series! I really enjoyed Spring of the Cursed Fae! We met Bayleon, Bastian and Lia in Winter of the Shadow Fae and I knew I wanted their story! L.P. delivered! It’s well written, easy to read while still keeping the language true to the fantasy world it’s set it! The spicy scenes were great, though I would’ve loved more with the two on one action! I’m excited for the next book, because sirens and dragons? Sign me up!

This is the second book of a series and while I did not read the first, I was still able to follow the story and jump right in which was nice. The description of the book peaked my interest but the execution was not there. The writing was poor and creatively flat, names like “Glimmerglass Lake” yikes. I skipped over so much of the text and focused on the dialogue and still felt like I knew what was going on. The “love story” between the two brothers and Lia is trite and not at all intriguing. The entire plot is intermixed with this adventure that is really lacking in any kind of new material, I felt like the entire book just ripped off other bits and pieces of better written stories. The writing was at a high school level. I DNf at around 80%.

The spice? Lacked so much description that I had to re-read scenes to see if my mind could fill in the gaps of what would have happened.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

God.. When I think that these books can't get any better, LP Dover just dives right in and proves me wrong.

I was given an ARC for free, for my honest review

This is the second in addition to the Land of the Fae series by LP Dover, and let me start out by saying that while it's a little slow to start out with, the romance, mystery, and heat wramp up very quickly.
Falling back into this book with the characters was so comforting. Just when you find out something that could set everything right, the thing you least expect to happen will.
The growth of each and every single one of the characters literally warms my soul. We start with a strong-willed FMC who knows what she wants and doesn't have a plan to get there, but as the boys help her through the struggles, we soon realize that there is always someone out there to come after what is yours.

I loved this book's idea, and I can't wait to see where the next one goes!

An amazing story packed with excitement from the beginning to end so you never want to put it down. I love the world that Dover has created with her fae series and you truly are able to get lost in the rich world she has created. 🥰

Wow what an amazing book! Once you start you won’t be able to put it down. I was on the edge of my seat rooting the whole time! Lia is about to become the queen and have almost everything she wants in life. There’s one thing that she wants more than the throne. She just has to figure out how to find the cure. Her protectors are her life and she is theirs but will the curse be to strong.

I really enjoyed the prequel series to this one and I loved the first book in this series and I was very excited for this book because of who the main characters were going to be! I was lucky enough to receive an ARC and I started reading it straightaway! After reading, I can say that I enjoyed this book just as much as the others! The plot developed at the perfect pace and it only took me a few sittings to read because I didn’t want to put it down! There was a lot of romance in the plot and it was MMF! I’m so happy that the author did this because it was easy to see how much the characters loved each other and I’m so happy that the author didn’t make the female character pick one of her love interests! The romance allowed for some very steamy scenes! There was also some action and suspense, which added a lot to the development of the plot! The characters were also amazing and made this book even better! Lia was the main female character, and in this book she had just gotten her own land and she was learning to adjust! Lia was a strong character and she was determined in this book to help rid her love interests of a curse! I loved Lia and I connected with her all the way through this book! Bayleon and Bastian were the main male characters and love interest of Lia! I loved both guys and I’m really happy that Lia chose them both! It was easy to see how much Bayleon and Bastian loved Lia and they were protective of her and were there for her! Both guys were also slightly different, but they had the same aim! I also felt for them because of the curse on them because it had a big impact on them! This book was mainly written from Lia’s point of view, but some chapters were also written from Bayleon and Bastian’s point of views too! I loved that this book was written this way because it helped me connect with all three characters more and see how much they all meant to each other and It allowed for a few more things to happen in the plot as well, even though all three characters spent the majority of the plot together! I now can’t wait to read the next book in this series! Going by the title of the next book, I’m pretty sure I know who the main characters are going to be! I can’t wait to continue their story and see what’s going to happen next! I’m not sure when the next book releases, but I’ll definitely be reading it as soon as it does! I also love the cover for this book! It suits the cover for the first book and the prequel books and I love that it uses symbols on it instead of models! It suits the book and would draw me to the book! Big thank you to L.P. Dover for an ARC of Spring of the Cursed Fae!

Tropes: fantasy romance, why choose, royalty, fae

Fae from across the land have come to the Spring Court in the hopes of winning Lia's affection. It wasn't an easy task. The future queen was a trained warrior who loved her people and knew their needs outweighed her desires. Her heart already belonged to brothers, Bayleon and Bastian. The twins were cursed with the powers of seduction. One look in their eyes entralled victims to a blissful death. The twins are offered an opportunity to be Lia's protectors at court, but it comes at a steep price. Their eyes must be shielded, and they must promise not to seduce any women. It they failed, they would be put to death. But not using their power could kill them anyway. To save her men, she gives into her desires. It's impossible for her to choose just one of them when her heart belongs to both. She doesn't want to lose her loves so she wants to find a cure. When she's kidnapped by those who don't want the curse broken, Bayleon and Bastian will have to save the future queen they love. Can they find Lia before the curse kills them, or will the trials they face tear the trio apart?

I've been wanting to read LP Dover for a while now, so when she started writing fantasy romance, I knew I couldn't wait any longer. This was the first fantasy that I've read that served as a standalone. It was incredibly entertaining. It kept me on the edge of my seat while I kept turning pages until early in the morning. I found it hard to put it down at all. The trio's chemistry and connection were just right. Great world building. I highly recommend this read. I will definitely be going back and reading her other fantasy romances. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

Another exciting tale with Lia and Bastien and Bayleon's adventures and what the power of love can do. Lia making a commitment to her men now has her seeking a cure for them and their. future.

This was an awesome adventure about love and betrayal. Lia is now Queen and has her own court and now she wants nothing more than the men she loves at her side. This takes her on a journey of mystery and suspense and uncovering the secrets that lie in the past.

Now that she has a place to start her quest is about to begin and she needs to rescue her men from the pits of hell. Boy, did this take her on one wild adventure and we loved being on it. Lia it seems has become more powerful with age and she will need that power for her up and coming battle. Her magic was a beautiful thing to see.

Loved the chemistry between the three and the abundance of love they had between them. Loved they forge lasting friendship with the most unlikely people and some of them becoming allies in their quest. Aidan's attraction and chemistry developed between someone complete opposite of himself wondering if it may flourish or will it be too dangerous for himself and his court. Nevertheless it was an interesting twist of events.

Overall it was a fascinating read that had you smiling throughout with a grin and smile on your face. Loved Lia's determination to heal her loves. Loved the beauty of the Fae world and the beauty that surrounds it. The characters were amazing. The adventure was filled with so much mystery and suspense and secrets coming to life that it engaged the reader from the very first chapters. What a page turner and we loved it.

Cursed twin brothers that can seduce you with one glance? Yes please! Spring of the Cursed Fae is the second book in the Land of the Fae series and can be read as a standalone and ends in a HEA. This was a pleasant read. I would have liked it to be a little longer and cover the curse more. I want to see it in action.

Spice level (1-5): 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Kink level (1-3): ⛓️ MFM, twins

Lia is in love with two twin brothers that are her personal guards. She can’t choose between them. But her Kingdom won’t accept a cursed King, let alone two! Lia is determined to find a cure that will save her men that were cursed with the power of seduction. If you look into their eyes you will be enthralled and the seduction can kill you. Not giving in to their desires could kill them. Lia goes on a mission to look for a cure but not everyone wants the curse to be lifted.

I would recommend Spring of the Cursed Fae to readers who love a set of twins in your why choose. If you love a triad with twins, curses, adventure, why choose, Fae, sirens, courts, spice, royalty, secrets, you’ll love Spring of the Cursed Fae. For the die hard fans of Fae Romance this one is for you!

Warning: Reading Spring of the Cursed Fae may make you want to have twin guards protecting you. May make you want to go on an adventure. May make you not want to choose. May make you want to change society for the better. Read responsibly.

I loved the first book in the series, so I immediately grabbed this one, when I saw the notification on Booksprout. It's again a 4.5 (rounded up to a 5 on the sites that don't have half points.)

Lia is the newest queen in the land of Faes, her court is the one of blossoms, matching her growing and healing powers. The only thing she doesn't seem to be able to grow is the relationship with her two protectors, Bastian and Bayleon, who are cursed.

But Lia would be the heroine of this story, if she didn't try to create her happy ever after with the two men.

So she searches for the reason, fights for her men, and makes unexpected new siren friends (who we apparently meet in the next book again *yay*) on the way.

Even if not everything works as expected, they succeed and Lia can finally announce the two Kings of the Court of Blossoms.

The story was very entertaining and I enjoyed ist a lot. The spice is nice mix of explicit and fading into black.
There were a few parts of the solution a bit too convenient and easy, but at least the execution of that solution was not as easy going as expected.

(I probably should read the original stories of the Forever Fae series at one point as well).

The world building in this series has just been incredible, first with the Forever Fae part of this series, and now with the Land of the Fae stories. Spring of the Cursed Fae brings us the formation of Queen Lia's Blossom Court. Her protectors Bayleon and Bastian make their reappearance in this book, the twin Tyvars who promised to deny their cursed nature in order to live among the fae. Lia's heart is equally split between them, leading her on a quest to break the Tyvar curse. Her mission brings her to the heart of the Elves' kingdom, needing their wisdom, as well as a little help from the Red Caps, a dragon, and siren.

I am once again in awe of L.P. Dover's creativity. She spun a fantastic tale, bringing a very hard earned happily ever after for 2 of my favorite characters from the original series. I love how the children of each of the royal families from the original series are now getting their own stories, and how each of their new courts give a home to a different species of magical creatures. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next with the Summer of the Siren Fae.

This is book 2 of the Land of the Fae series but can be enjoyed on its own though it’s a good series and you do meet a few characters from the first book so if you like good high fantasy grab both books.

This is Lia’s story. She is becoming queen of her own court the Blossom Court in the Spring Court.
She is in love with both her protectors ( twin Brothers) and refuses to choose.
Finally she chooses both.

Bayleon and Bastian are twin brothers cursed before birth. They have the powers of seduction but it drives women mad with a look in the eyes. They have to wear special masks because they’ve been allowed in the Spring Court as Lia’s protectors but if they seduce anyone it brings a sentence of death.

Lia wants children with them but to do so she must first try to break the curse.

I really liked all the characters.
Though MFM isn’t my favorite, this was written well and the sex scenes not overly explicit but hot enough. The relationships develop as the story goes and we aren’t just thrown into it.

What I liked most was the adventure with its twists.
So if you like High Fantasy, Fae, Elves, curses, MFM and a good adventure… this is for you.

Lia is the future queen of the Spring Court, but there's more to her as she's also a strong warrior, and let me tell you, I couldn't get enough of her as she was the perfect heroine in my eyes. There are many Fae who are trying to win her heart, however, her heart already belongs to twins, Bayleon & Bastian, and she certainly can't choose. They become her protectors but there comes a time when the script flipped & she's going to have to save them. This story was super exciting set in a color rich fantasy world that I would love to visit in person LOL! There's obviously serious suspense with twists coming in hot, magic & action, heat in spades making it an all around good time for me as I was on the edge of my seat cover to cover. The attention to detail that this author did brilliantly made the world seem so real, not to mention I couldn't put it down for anything until I had read every last page. I will be rereading it again in the coming days as it was that good, so don't pass it by or you will be missing out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I was a bit concerned if I can follow the story since it is book two, but oh my gosh!
It is fantastic, I was able to quickly jump into it, and the author is so careful to include information, you might need going forward, without having read the first instalment, and I am so down for it!

Absolutely enjoyed this romantasy, highly recommend it!
But, if I were you, I'd start from the very beginning, this story is so beautifully written, it takes you on a ride of your life!

I'd be having the same thoughts as our leading Queen, because /why choose/? Equal measure spicy, action-packed, emotional, and eloquent.
Can be read as a stand-alone, but I will be picking up the first one next!

Excited to read more from the author, especially in this world!

This story reminds me of why I am a reader and not an author. My imagination is not there. My brain fails me. I don’t know where the author gets her ideas, but I am so grateful that she has them and is willing to share them with the reader. I do know that I don’t want to be in her head. I will wait until she puts pen to paper. Spring of the Cursed Fae contains all that is good and exciting within the fantasy romance genre. If you are new to the genre; Spring of the Cursed Fae is a great introduction to the world of fantasy.

The royal courts in the Land of the Fae continue to expand with the royal children gaining their own courts. There are so many fascinating locations, both light and dark. Some of the creatures in the story are downright terrifying, goosebump generating. Other creatures are beautiful in body and soul. There always seems to be a ball somewhere, keeping readers informed of the different creatures living on the lands.

The story centers around Lia, who becomes Queen of the Blossom Court and her two protectors, Bastian and Bayleon. Her protectors are Tyvar, which is similar to being a siren, except they can manipulate women. They may be Tyvar but Bastian and Bayleon have sworn off of the practice and wear special masks to prevent them from influencing women. As the men become weaker and weaker from lack of sex something has to change.

And change it does. For years Lia, Bastian and Balloon have kept quiet about the love they all share. Lia knows how to save them. I will admit I usually skim the sex scenes, but not in this story. The author shows the importance of the sex and its necessity. The author’s words show the love they all share through sex. In this story the sex is as beautiful as the characters are. No matter how good the sex is, as long as they are Tyvar the three cannot marry.

Lia is desperate to reverse the curse. Her determination puts many at risk. They must face the unthinkable. The story is intense. The conflict is dangerous. The attempts to stop them are violent and scary.

The unexpected is mind blowing, making for an addictive read that kept me up past my bedtime. I tried putting it to bed, but the story wouldn’t let me rest. I needed to know what would happen. I wasn’t sure if there would be a happily ever after. The author definitely made the characters work for there forever love. And my heart is still all a flutter with it. I finally fell asleep filled with happiness.

Ms. Dover writes paranormal romance fabulously. This series will captivate you and keep you wanting for more. Lia, Bastian and Bayleon’s story is intriguing, passionate and alluring. It will definitely keep you on your toes with the action, suspense and loads of steamy scenes.

From the first moment we met this trio I wondered how Leslie would pull such a story but she blew my expectations away. She weaved a brilliant story of hope, love and family that will keep you coming back for more.

This was a fast paced read with loads of story, action and romance to fulfill your heart with everything you desire. I can’t wait for more and I really hope the sexy dragon and siren get a happily ever after.

I was intrigued over Lia and her two fierce protectors Bayleon and Bastain and couldn't wait to see what would happen between them. These three make one hell of a formidable trio.

Bayleon and Bastain have been cursed along with the rest of their people and now that Lia has admitted she wants the both of them they are determined to find the answer to curing the curse.

watching them travel through all the different Fae and Elves worlds this was gripping and captured our attention throughout.

Lia has been in love with Bayleon and Bastian for years but could never choose between them. Finally she decides to take a chance but needs to find a way to break their curse..
Lia is strong willed and caring whilst Bayleon and Bastian are loyal, stoic but thoughtful.
This is a good book, with plenty of romance, steam, desperation and action. This story again broadens the world of the fae and introduces new people and a new direction for the series to go.
This is a good addition to the series.

The second book in the Land of the Fae series. I would recommend reading the previous story to fully enjoy this one.

Future queen Lia has more suitors than she wants - she has already chosen twins Bayleon and Bastain. They are selected to be her protectors, but must keep their eyes covered. They have an affliction that can seduce. Lia attempts to find a cure for them and instead ends up needing them to save her...

This book is entertaining and exciting!.

This is the second book in the Land of the Fae series. They are standalones.
This is a good read.
This is Lia, Bastian and Bayleon.
Bastian and Bayleon are brothers. They are Lia's protectors. They are all Tyvars and cursed. Basically, they're male sirens.
Lia is in love with both of them and they feel the same for her.
Now to just break the curse.
While I did like the story and characters, it just didn't suck me in like the other books have. This is a still a good read, just not one of my favs from LP's fae books.

This story is about Lia, Bayleon, and Bastian. Bayleon, and Bastian have a curse on them, and Lia tries to find a cure for the curse. But on that journey, she is taken as people don’t want the curse removed. Can these two find and save her before something deadly happens? If they are able to find her will the curse be gone, or will they all lose each other in the end anyway?

I recommend this book.

I really enjoyed this one! I was surprised because LP Dover usually writes pretty straightforward MF books but Lia and her two men (twins) was a pleasant surprise. Lia is strong in her own right, like all the royal fae to be honest and her men, Bayleon and Bastian, are her protectors and just as strong. I loved the introduction of the sirens and how this world is ever expanding. Also the set up for hopefully the next book, always love that!

this book has “scenes” of literal incest!🤢 the plot was awful, there was no word building, it ended with ANOTHER pregnancy trope just like the first book. one of the worst books i have ever read and doesn’t deserve the title of fantasy or romance. there’s not enough detail and it’s super fast moving which takes away all the potential suspense. very predictable and all around just a horrible book.

I am not usually a fantasy romance trope reader.

The blurb enticed me, and I'm glad I read Bayleon, Bastian and Lia's story.

I really enjoyed the world building and the love between the main characters.

It was an exhilarating, intoxicating read!

I would definitely read more in the realm!

Well I really enjoyed this book. It’s the second book, but could be read as a stand-alone.
The story was full of drama and angst, as well as some sizzle, which would’ve been better if they were all together, instead of taking turns. But that’s just my preference.
Another HEA, cannot wait to see what comes next
