Devilish Good Time

Rate this book
Against his better judgment, Jacob goes to a Halloween party on campus where he runs into Bobby, a jock on the crew team he's been eyeing for a while. Problem is, guys like Bobby don't usually go for guys like Jacob.

Once they ditch Bobby's roommate and his girlfriend to find a little quiet time in New Jersey's Pine Barrens, it seems Bobby only has eyes for Jacob. But their tryst is soon interrupted. All those tales and legends about the Jersey Devil are just talk, right?

Well, this is fun :). Two boys in a wood and then something sinister is lurking to interrupt them. It's a short, so it's only like a scene out of a horror/teenager flick. But that's okay. I enjoy it nevertheless :)

Reviewed by Amber: This is a typical boy hooks up with boy he's long lusted over story. Toss in a paranormal twist, a tad bit of spice, and voila!

This story didn't do it for me. I didn't feel that much of anything went on and the Jersey Devil aspect didn't scare or creep me out in the least.

A little bit of a scare in the spooky woods, some naughty college students out to have fun at Halloween. I really enjoyed Jacob's outlook and the story was entertaining, sexy and cute. Definitely worth reading.

The whole 'Jersey Devil' aspect of this story was just meh.

It would have read the same if they'd almost been caught by a cop while fooling around in the woods. If you're going to go there, don't just leave us with a thud and mysterious scratches on the hood.

This was a good story and I have to admit that I enjoyed it. Being that I live in the Pine Barrens I have heard and have told many stories of the Jersey Devil. This was a good one.

The Pine Barrens is a great setting for a sexy scary story! My only complaint is I wanted more time with the characters.
