This was a fabulous leadership book. A reminder that as leaders, we need to be developing the bench, and develop, intentially, a culture of growth. I recommend this book to all leaders and aspiring leaders...

This book came along at the perfect time in my life and work. I’ve been thinking about vision a fair bit, and this lent so much clarity and direction just when I needed it. Helpful case studies and reflection questions helped me to take my action items to the next level.

Never by Chance does a great job of explaining what a vision is, how it interacts with values, and how both working together determine what is going to happen later. This includes everything from employee engagement through customer loyalty.

The books main points are:
* Create a vision that's clear, in plain english, and connects emotionally
* Be consistent in living that vision
* A strong culture is the glue that holds it all together

I recommend this book because of it's approach to business, but also because the topics are presented clearly and directly and are backed up with stories that illustrate the concepts.

Read this for work when going through an alignment of the organization behind our resources. Very helpful, and the authors are awesome to work with as well. Their ideas are truly clarified by their anecdotes and it has been very helpful throughout our process.
