This was an interesting cozy mystery to read if the reader has lived in the state of Nebraska. The characters are a nice family and friends with an ending that allows more tales to follow. copy right 1997

2014-07-05. Not bad. The looks to be the 10th book in the series but I didn't really feel that the characters were as fully developed as I would have expected for that. I enjoyed them but for it to be touted as a veterinarian series, didn't have a lot of vet or pet stuff although the pot bellied pig I'm the title was definitely referred to a lot. That may be what bothered me most...animals were referred to but didn't really play a part. The mystery wasn't bad but was predictable although seeing how it was worked out was good. Hated the note at the end. The more I really review this, I've decided to amend my original pretty good to not bad. Moving from 4 to 3 stars.
