First off, I would like to say, that I have been a practicing witch for almost 20 years. Herbs have always played a significant role in my practice, and tea magic has held a varying degree of importance. As of late, I feel more drawn to tea magic and have sought more information and inspiration for my craft. I worried about finding books too geared towards beginners, which would teach me little, and had a run-in with an obvious AI “author,” before finding this book. This book feels like I have decided to take a class from an elder at a cozy witch shop. The author is very knowledgeable and personable. The concepts are easy to understand. She doesn’t go ad nauseam, into details about witchcraft, ethics, history, etc., using half the book to rehash these ideas. No, she gets right into the nitty-gritty, giving you the knowledge and advice to get started. You leave each chapter confident and ready to try out the recipes, spells, and activities she presented. She gives the student/reader the ability to dive right in where they are. This book contains some of the most detailed list of symbols and their meanings for tasseography that I’ve seen. Most people talking on the subject give you a lot less info. I have never tried my hand at this form of divination and it makes me want to give it a try. I also enjoyed the various illustrations throughout the book and the adorable tea grimoire pages included at the end of the book. I also enjoyed the everyday advice and recipes for everyday health conditions. The ingredients were also not too simplified but also not needlessly complicated. All in all, this was a great book that I think beginners as well as those with more experience will enjoy! Thank you for sharing your magick with us!

I LOVE this book!

I absolutely love this book. I love this book so much that after fully reading it on Kindle, I’ll be purchasing a copy to keep on my bookshelf next to my altar! I love the recipes in this book as well as the intent and care the author shows. You can tell she really cares about people, the earth, and her practice and I absolutely adore the way she talks to the reader. At the very end she does mention “smudging” which is a closed Native practice, but I genuinely don’t think there’s any ill intent or intent of appropriation. I really adore this book and highly recommend it!

This book offers some great ideas for trying a new witchy path. I love tea so it really appealed to me!
