An interesting discussion of what the Great Pyramids were built for. He did not engage in any of the alien conspiracy stuff, but argued that the pyramids were essentially used for surveying and mapping out land. Because the Nile alwasy flooded, a conventional border stone system could not be used, but one could always sight along the pyramid lines to draw boundaries. The author discussed the geometry of pyramids and showed how an ancient system of surveying could be developed around it.

Interesting

I am interested in ancient history, the pyramids, ancient engineering, and knowledge. I find that modern man often thinks himself the most achieved when, in fact we are now most in the dark.
