Sigh. I bought this ebook on Amazon before I knew about the problematic issues surrounding the two authors.

I highly suggest you do your own research before buying the book and supporting them. I'm leaving a review to bring awareness to this as Seven Seas recently announced they got the license to publish. Here's a link if you are interested in looking into it.

I wanted to read the book before watching the series because I have heard great things about Kinn and Porsche. While I absolutely love Porsche and the overall story was great, this novel has MANY flaws and red flags so beware...

🔴Ableist word choices (extremely derogatory)
🔴Dub-con (but much closer to rape) twice
🔴Major homophobia which is so weird to me in a BL/MM
🔴 Derogatory terms related to women
🔴 Overuse of the word bastard in this translation (994 times 🤣)
🔴 Editing in this version is pretty bad but still readable

This should have been a DNF but I wanted to know the obsession people had with Kinn and Porsche. I think I get it but Porsche deserves so much better.

BEAUTIFUL

if anyone is a fan of the series I highly recommend reading this one. there is a lot more details and is not completely like the series. but completely worth the read

i absolutely loved the series but i had no idea it had a book. obviously i had to read it.

this book is 1390 pages of just too much. obviously they are toxic together and porsche will always deserve so much better, but there’s no denying that kinn loves him in his own way. they have insane chemistry and would set the world on fire for one another.

i also loved to see favorite characters like vegas and pete (love them). this book felt like a compilation but it was fun to read after having watched the series. there is a lot more here they didn’t show in the series.

is a long read but if you’ve seen the series and enjoyed it and would like to read more of these two, this is a don’t-miss story. if you haven’t seen the series, please look up trigger warnings as a lot happens in the series and in the book. heavy topics are mentioned and there’s use of slurs. this book does not contain a trigger warning before reading so please do your research. this is NOT a bubbly romance story.

Wow

The book was soooo much better than the show, and so different from it. I was hooked nevauae of the show, but became engrossed because of how the characters were portrayed. Excellent story, steamy love scenes...wow. I just wish the book got more in depth regarding the relationship of Kim and Porchè. Typos were many...granmar atrocious at times, but I realize that this was translated. So? Great 📚

I loved this

I watched the series first before reading the book, and I loved both. There are things that have been explained after reading the book. Obviously, there are differences since the series has been adapted for television, and some of the timelines and events are not as described in the book. I do recommend reading the book before watching the series for anyone who has not seen it yet and thinking about watching it. Please keep in mind that this is a translation of the native Thai version, so there are some grammar differences.

I cannot stop thinking about the last chapter of this book… I don’t want to spoil anything but fuckkkk it was so hot!
So I literally bought this book based off the cover and because it’s a Thai BL which I’ve heard are really good in general, so I obviously had to buy this one. It did not disappoint. There’s a lot of tension between Kinn & Porsche, the bickering, the fighting (literally martial arts happening) all of it, was soo damn good, it was hard to put this book down. I cannot wait for book 2!!

I really wish I had read some of this book at the store before grabbing it and paying money for it. I bought the 7 seas version of volume 1. Awful writing, switching pov in the middle of a chapter using the same adjective multiple times in one paragraph etc. The "relationship" makes zero sense and the characters do nothing but argue like babies. dnf at chapter 10.

I think I blocked out a ton of the awfulness of the written (English translated, anyway) version of this. The drama is all that shall remain in my memory.
