It would be a great base to start from, considering it's quite thorough on all the topics. However, the book is already a bit dated. If you start looking up some of the examples she gives, you'll find a lot of them don't exist anymore. Which is unfortunate. I really hope this book will be updated somewhere in the near future, as the foundation is really good.

A clear, thorough guide

Provided a good overview and plenty of sources to continue researching. Pretty dated now, but most of the theories still stand.

Gives a good overview, but can sometimes be rather dull if you consider that every chapter actually consists of enumerations. The book is good for advice and gives you good and short examples, so I would have given it a 4 out of 5 if it wasn't for my expectations of something more narrative.
