This was another book I read for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize and knowing a 5-8yr old fiction book was due a win, I wish it had been this one. It's a great little story of friendship, courage and sheer determination.

Danny wants to be a record breaker just like his dad and get his name in the 'big book'. He tries so many things but never seems to make it to the book but after a minor accident Danny ends up talking gobblydgoop with only his best friend understanding what he says. Could this be his ticket to holding a world record? Have a read to find out!!
