This was not at all the direction I thought Sydney’s story was going to go in. This book takes an up close and personal look at some of the darker aspects of the human (and Signum) psyche and dares us not to flinch at what we see. I admit it, I flinched. There are parts of this that pushed me farther out of my comfort zone than I wanted to go. I loved the ending they’ve embraced, it’s just that some of the steps in the journey left me unsettled. Now that I’ve reached the end, I’m excited to see where the author’s going to take us next.

Sydney's story took an interesting turn. It took a darker turn. at times, with dub-con the is on the line of non-con and a few other elements. I love the dynamics between not only Sydney and her men but also between the men. The BDSM elements are amazing. I really enjoyed this series and all that it offers.
