Start your review of Mathematics in India

This is a very interesting book on a subject that has received too little academic attention and scrutiny. Plofker manages to convey the essence of Indian mathematics in terms of the methodology and the problems studied. The book goes into some detail of some techniques in Indian mathematics, but being such a broad survey she has to skim some details.
