This was required reading for a class on cluster grouping that was part of my gifted certificate program. Although geared toward K-5 schools, middle schools could certainly find a way to take this model and adapt it. If nothing else, the chapters on differentiating and compacting curriculum were easy to read, gave great templates and examples, and have me motivated to implement these things in my classroom this fall.
