Anthology as a whole:
I loved it. All of the stories were fun to read. The biggest thing that I noticed throughout all of the stories, besides the babies, was the realness of the charcters and the situations, for the most part. I liked that a lot.

Mixed bag, but mostly good. Some of the first essays (in response to 9/11) are a little over-emotional in their direction, but there are some real gems here. Reading these essays goes quite well with reader Kingsolver's fiction ( I was reading The Bean Trees at the time). She really teaches you to appreciate nature. I have (tried to) stop killing spiders after reading these essays.
