What's a girl to do when she's reincarnated into her favorite game, and as the antagonist to boot? Simple—set the stage so that the loves of her life shine, of course! To ensure that the heroes will make the right decisions to save themselves and the world, I'm determined to play my role to perfection. There's just a teensy problem—I may or may not have interfered in the life of my absolute number one fave, and he somehow ended up as my right-hand man for my schemes. How was I supposed to know that an impulsive choice from my childhood would cause such drastic changes to the story?!
Dropped today, late to work cuz I read it this morning before work today. I started it and couldn’t put it down. (I was only 15 minutes late, I stayed late and made it up).
I LOVE the MC h’s enthusiasm for her favs and I like how she had a reason for why she played the villainess, though she could have probably been good and gotten the same result, but I find it funny that she keeps finding bad things unintentionally that she helps to foil, in her own way.
The half vampire butler who is devoted to his mistress is a cute touch/nod to those tropes and I just really liked all of the characters and the storyline. I also appreciate that it doesn’t seem to be a reverse harem. That is getting old for me. I just want a HEA for everyone, is that too much to ask?
4, I’m looking forward to the next volume, stars!

This manga was everything! It honestly felt like a reader's dream come true for any person who has wished they could go into the world of their favorite characters, even if they have to go into that world as a villainess, which is exactly what happens to Eldia!
Not only was the story itself amazing and a lot of fun, but I LOVED how all the expressions of what Eldia was TRULY feeling was deeply reflective in her facial expressions as I've made similar ones when reading about my faves! It makes her character so enjoyable to read and deeply relatable! Plus, I love how this villainess trope had its own twist where she's relishing in being a villainess just so the game will stay the same and her faves will flourish and grow. Most the ones I've read before, the villainess is just trying to stay alive, but every single action by Eldia is not backed by fear, but something to help her faves or be able to cheer them on in secret. It's so good!
The romance was definitely a surprise! There was a fantasy aspect to it that I didn't expect and 100% here for seeing more romantic development in volume two! I like the guy in question and enjoyed MANY of his expressions, especially when he teases Eldia!
Overall, I think this story is perfect for any reader who has wanted to interact with their favorite characters! Eldia lives out that wish fulfillment tenfold and already going to be searching for updates on when volume two will release because I need and want more of this story! Highly recommend!
2.5, but I'm rounding up because it feels mean-spirited not to. This is a very okay book. It tweaks rather than twists the villainess isekai genre, it has a couple of genuinely funny moments, like the "villainess" accidentally hooking the hero on yuri doujinshi, and its heart is in the right place. It just isn't any of those things quite enough to be actually, solidly good.
Normally, I’d avoid ones like this thinking they were silly gags. I loved this one. A villainess to playing the role to perfection to support all her faves but not understanding why they’re so attached to her. It’s sweet but comical. I adore Albert with the sweet/sadistic attitude. I hope they end up together. I found Albert’s hair distracting. Solid black, toned and so forth. Looking forward to more.

This set-up is ridiculous, but in a good way and I was certainly entertained. I do sense that this initial premise and her repeated references to her faves could get repetitive as the series goes on, but I'll withhold judgment on that as this is only the first volume. As someone who also fangirls over her faves and loves showing her support by collecting a variety of goods, I get her feels at times though!
Yep. Delightful. Even with some of the strange incomplete art that looked like digital drafts, not ready for print...oh well! I still adored this chaotic story and humorous take on the very tired Isekai villainess plot.
This was so fun! This is about a fan girl who is basically reborn into her favorite video game as the villainess. And, because she loved her favorite characters so much, she decides to play the role perfectly to help them each succeed in their mission goals. It was such a nice chance of pace from other isekais that I’ve read! Can’t wait for the next volume.
Haha, this was just terrific. At times times the flow of thoughts was a bit too much, but in overall I really enjoyed this read of a girl reincarnated in the villainess and planning to get a happy end for all her favs and stanning them like mad. It was hilarious! I loved how she was acting like a villainess, and sure she did some bad things, but we also learn she helped out the economy in multiple ways, protected people, stopped trafficking, and much much more. Oh, and even set up a BL/GL publishing thing with zines and all that. She is a really good egg, just way too dedicated to stanning her favs (of whom two are also definitely into helping her, the priestess was so hyped to call her My Lady). Including her ultimate fav and her butler, Albert. Who knows about her past and really loves her and hopes that she sees him beyond Best Boy (and yes, I was rooting and shipping like mad because these two). The facial expressions and reactions of our MC were perfect.
It’s every fangirl’s fantasy–stanning your faves in real life! And for the most part, our reincarnated main character is simply geeking out over her heroes, whether they’re dutifully playing their assigned role or acting out of character because our reincarnated fangirl introduced doujinshi into their world. For now, it’s sort of interesting, but without a tangible goal for the main character or any information on the ultimate goal of her heroes, it’s hard to tell where the plot is going.
The Review
When a 20-something gets crushed by a pile of merch, she abruptly wakes up as Eldea Euclair, antagonist of her beloved game Emotion Fantasy. For her, it’s a dream come true to see her favorite characters in the flesh! So she’ll do all in her power to keep the story on track–even if it means playing the villainess. There’s just one problem. Some early interference on her part has caused the game’s top assassin to become her personal butler.
I’ve read/watched a few of these “reincarnated as a villainess” isekai, and the reincarnated individual is usually trying to maneuver through their real-life game without triggering a bad end or death flag. However, this title doesn’t follow that formula. Primarily because the story begins right as the villainess exits the game.
Eldea is the early-game antagonist who is only involved in the initial part of the game. However, the manga doesn’t bother including that in this story. Rather, it opens with Eldea’s final scene in the game where she’s found out and stripped of her rank. All of her diabolical doings are only mentioned in retrospect. And after 26 pages of playing up her villainous role while internally geeking out over her faves, our reincarnated antagonist’s part in the game is done.
So, no death flag hanging over her head. And because she’s made preparations in advance, no bad ending either. She just has one niggling concern regarding her number one fave, Albert the assassin. Because she interfered early in this character’s storyline, he wound up as her butler. In other words, living a completely different life than he was supposed to. Moreover, he knows that she possesses knowledge about the heroes of their world that normal people don’t.
This combination of fangirl plus hot favorite character of course sparks romantic tension between the two. Despite his loyalty, she maintains emotional distance because she assumes he’d eventually move on. Albert, for his part, assumes he’d never truly capture her heart. However, all that swiftly gets cleared up with the confessions in Chapter 2.
Therefore, our main character is not in fear for her life. She’s taken measures to change her identity (to the financier Ellua) and set up a comfortable estate in another kingdom. And all the romantic tension between her and Albert gets taken out at the end of Chapter 2. With so much resolved, where is this story going?
For now, it seems like she’s simply going to enjoy the world of her favorite game. Because she’s no longer responsible for acting out a role, she can indulge in stanning the heroes (which, since she’s well-versed in their storyline, she can do easily). So yes, the title totally describes the book. However, the subtitle (Playing the Antagonist to Support Her Faves!) not so much, because, again, we don’t witness her committing diabolical deeds.
In terms of illustrations, they do the job for the most part. Character expressions are on point, and costumes have a lot of nice detail. However, action scenes, like when Anson draws his sword or when our main character uses shadow magic, are difficult to follow. Also, when Albert removes his shirt, his bared chest comes off more as blocky than tantalizing.
Extras include first page in color, artwork on the inside covers, three pages of bonus comics, and author afterward.
In this transmigration story, the MC has become the villainess in her favourite game world. She’s been living as Eldia since the character was seven, and has worked tirelessly behind the scenes for a decade to set the world exactly like in the game to make sure the heroes—her faves—flourish. At the same time, she’s planned for her exit she knows is coming. That’s where the story begins.
However, at the beginning of her life in this world, she’s made one change. She rescued one of her faves, Albert, and instead of becoming a tragic character, he’s now her devoted butler who knows she’s not from this world. She fears the day he leaves her, but it turns out he has romantic feelings for her. She doesn’t quite know how to respond, having preferred fantasy characters to real people in her previous life.
This was a cute story. In the first chapter, the heroes who were supposed to hate Elida have a surprise for her. In the second, Elida has started her new life and is determined to enjoy herself now that she doesn’t have to look after the heroes anymore. The ending leaves the reader curious for what will happen next.
Elida was a fun, very non-villainous character, and Albert was a perfect romantic hero with some delicious moments, as he turned out to be a dhampire. The artwork was good with great details. My only gripe is that the book was drawn to be read from right to left like manga, but for some reason the digital copy layout of the translation was from left to right, with no change to the artwork, which took some getting used to.
I received a free copy from Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review.
An interesting start - Eldea has transmigrated into her favorite Otome game as the villainess. Same old, same old, right? Not so fast!
Instead of trying to change the plot, she works to get all the heroes (her faves!) to be their best by…following the plot. So she is evil in order to build each person up, teaching them what they need to ultimately defeat the demons, etc. after her great denouement, she disappears - her fate in the game as well. To be fair, that’s a better fate than the usual villainess, so it’s not as crazy for her to follow the original story. She’s actually a bit of a do-gooder as well as a crazy fan girl, so she has actually been improving the economy of this world and generally uplifting peoples’ lives. Part of that is because she loves the game world so much that she wants it to shine. She is outraged to discover a casino cheating people and then running an illegal fighting ring.
Now, things haven’t gone perfectly for her…early on she accidentally rescued her FAVORITE FAVE, and for the past 10 years he’s been her servant and become aware of her background and plans. He’s helping her in the background, rolling his eyes about her gushing, and obviously he’s crazy about her. Additionally, her help to the original FL and ML haven’t gone unnoticed, and they refuse to believe she’s actually wicked. But she still ditches them 😆
I’ll see what happens in the new volume. It’s not a masterpiece, but it’s fresh enough that it’s interesting to follow.

A VERY common trope nowadays, but done entertainingly enough with an interesting main-character pair. A young woman dies and is reborn into her favourite video game....as the villain. Determined to help her favourite characters grow into their best powers, she sets out to play her villain role to perfection (keeping her fangirling behind closed doors) in order to steer them along; but a few little details have changed: she took in one character rather than letting him live out his tragic backstory, so he has become her devoted manservant and sole confidant. How can she handle the dynamic between them with him knowing the things he does? What will she do with herself once her game story-arc is over?
Content concerns: no nudity or sex (so far), no graphic violence (isolated frames of sword-swings and occasional magic-attacks), no swearing that I remember; casino gambling, gladiatorial combat
Ellua and Albert better start dating, or else! … I’m joking… Unless..? In the spirit of a bit more seriousness, I enjoyed the idea of a villainess like Ellua; playing the roles and plans she’s carefully laid out, all to support her faves… her oshis. I enjoyed the perspective the author and mangaka gave me as a reader, and I’d love to eat up more of this manga in the future.
If you enjoyed The Villainess Stans the Heroes, then I have some further reading recommendations below from my own personal reading. Tamon’s B-Side Star Crossed (manga series by Junko, the creator of Kiss Him, Not Me!) Accomplishments of the Duke’s Daughter The White Cat’s Revenge as Plotted from the Dragon King’s Lap 7th Time Loop Roxanne/The Way to Save the Heroine’s Brother
I LOVED THIS BOOK! I’m ready for book 2. The plot of the book is a girl is reincarnated as the villainess of her favorite mobile game that she spent money on. She takes her role as a villianess seriously, unlike other mangas where they try and change their fates. She wants to be as evil as she can, so she can watch the heroes she admires live amazing lives and succeed. During this time, she takes a servant who happens to be a vampire. He likes her. She kinda likes him. I’m loving their relationship!
this was fantastic!! I eat up these ‘isekai villainess’ books so it was definitely right up my alley….that being said, the story here was unique, and I loved that eldea could be open and honest about her past life and he obsession with her ‘faves’ from the video game (≧∇≦)not to mention the romance here was SWOONWORTHY and they dove right in, no having to wait lots of chapters with them dancing around each other! I may have found a new favorite here, hoping the next volume is just as strong!!

I really enjoyed this isekai otome inspired manga. We follow a girl who gets buried in merch and dies, then is reborn as a villainess in her favorite mobile game. She becomes powerful and does everything in her power to support the characters she stans. This was such a fun read and I can't wait for the next volume.
This is a fresh take on being reincarnated as a villainess! Rather than avoiding the plots she’s down to make sure they happen. I thought this was a great switch, I would give it 5 stars if it had any kind of depth and seriousness. It’s more of a comedy feel good vibe so far when I wish she had a little more to her. But so far an un visited concept so I’m excited
A girl and her oshis, or bias / favourite in English! I really enjoyed this one and can't wait to see how the series ends. It knows what the tropes are and revels in it, which is a point in my book. A good recommend for anyone else who has been binge reading villainess stories that wants to root for the OG heroes of the story *and* the protagonist.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book! I don't read many 'reincarnated' manga, but lately I have, and I liked it. The artwork is great, and there are many humorous moments.
Always adore the concept of someone playing a game and ending up as a villain/Villainess, but this time they go through as being one (even though not exactly being as one as much as they think) to help the Heroes lol
