War between Weres and Humans have left mistrust and prejudice in its wake.

Forbidden companionship a queen takes a sanction lover--a wereslave.
Seeking refuge in which to live, a pack is captured.

The dynamic between Queen Nayla and Alpha Mace is never what the rules intended. The mistress is bound to her slave in private and preconceptions are shattered. The execution is good, but the characterizations are a bit simplistic and not well explained. Personally, I would have preferred more depth and

Loved this one. Nayla is a little contradictory and weak in the first two chapters, but I might be too if I had to deal with Mace. What a man/wolf/alpha. *Fans self*. Sex scenes are HAWT! Good storyline in between. The menage? Yes, please. Very well done. And I loved the ending. Managed to hit all the major points, without being predictable. One I will definitely read again.

This book has everything I love about paranormal erotic romance. Ms. Slater has a way of easing your way into this quick read. If you love werewolves and erotic romance, this is a book for you!

In this world Werewolves are hunted down or treated like second class citizens. It makes it even worse when the Queen Nayla was attacked as a young teenager. Her parents are killed and she was hurt. When a strange pack wonders into her country, she wants nothing from them except, to rot in her dungeon. Mace the alpha of the pack, sits naked and in filth, as they starve and wait to die. The pack had been wandering looking for a new place to call home and were attacked and thrown in a dungeon, jus ...more

A faraway land, named Paqualette, is ruled by a queen, Nayla. She, like all the queens of that land, is forbidden to have a husband or a human lover, so they take an Eran as a WereSlave, and she decides to do the same. Nayla takes as her WereSlave the leader of an Eran pack who was captured days ago.

She expected to hate him, because her family was killed by one years ago, but Mace wasn’t like that. Mace Quinton was a powerful and kind man, who was

4 stars.

I really enjoyed this short story.

Werewolves are hated and feared in general by the public and especially by the Queen. She has good reason to hate werewolves. However werewolves, at least with royalty, don't know about the other the classes, can be used as sex slaves.

There is a slight bit of questionable consent during the first encounter with Nayla and Mace. But how it was presented didn't bother me.

I wish there had been a little more explanation about the politics and history of t

Some very hot sex, but I would have enjoyed this book more if there had been more world-building and more depth to the characters and story. This story felt rushed and most of the conflicts were resolved too easily. There's some major emotional trauma on both sides, and I think the book would have benefited from another hundred pages or so to unfold. I like my paranormal romances to have a richly drawn world, and this one wasn't written that way.

All that said, I plan to read at least two more b

WereSlave by Lia Slater is a cute little story. Due to sexual content definitely not foe teenagers. Queen Nayla is forbidden from marrying and having children. She is allowed a wereslave for sexual relief. She chooses Mace. Against both their desires love blooms. When Nayla is threatened, Mace flees with Nayla and his pack. After Nayla is mortally wounded, the witches save her life but with a price. Read this book for all the answers.

This is a very good love story a little more graffic than I am use to but I skipped a little and really liked the rest. The story line is great and if you change the names it could be just about any type of conflics. She really was a good queen and I hope that it worked out for the country and for Nayla too.

Great book and story. I don't know why I enjoyed it so much, but the setting was great and the characters quite nice. It was a little short which is why the story appears a tad abrupt, but all the neccessary parts were there and there weren't any parts left unexplained or unlogic. It could have used a little more romance though.

Naughty naughty fun. The sex is quite hot, and weaves well with the plot. There's just enough plot to let your blood cool down a little between escapades. A good time if you're just looking to get rile up.

The love that builds between Nayla and her WereSlave is as sweet as it is hot. The sex is crazy good, and the threat makes everything come together nicely. I hope to read more about these characters, even if they are only given cameos in later books. I would read more from this author.

This was a very cute short story!!! I liked it a lot; just wish there was a more firm ending to the relationship. I will have to say that I will however read the next story to see what will happen.

WereSlave is a novel that puts a very different spin on werewolfs and humans interacting. The chemistry between Queen Nayla and Mace is electrifying making it a definite must read. If you like books with hot alpha werewolfs then this is a book for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really like this book up until the end. Then the queen proved to be a selfishlittle queen. Her little no more sharing comment bothered me. I like kaige and I think he should have gotten the attention he deserves instead of used.

More porn than romance, if you're looking for a story with depth and characters who are interested in more than just getting an orgasm, look elsewhere.

Read it and it started good, but it was like the last 40% of the book the author gave up or was up against a schedule she was trying to meet and the book lost some of it's substance.

The sex scenes are very hot, but the plot and world are very simplistic, and not very believable.

Good story with too much erotica that was a little heavy-handed. Decent writing, clean copy. Excellent value on Amazon right now for free.

Interesting world the author has created where humans and Weres don't get along. Queen Nayla has chosen Mace, alpha of his pack, which is locked up in her dungeon, to be her wereslave.

Overall it was very well written. I do not really like to read sexual escapades without knowing. However, the sexual stories in this book seemed to fit quite well. It had a story and lots of detail.

Lia Slater thinks the world would be a better place if everyone read romance novels. There’s so much to learn from the storylines. Love. Loyalty. Confidence. Passion. Desire. Conflicts would be resolved with happy endings. And, of course, the sex would be mind-boggling.

Lia is well on her way to helping the world become a better place by writing steamy romance with heart-throbbing emotion.
